Customer support can't help when unit in field
Set it up and it worked fine. Turned it off. Got in the field, turned it on and it would not connect. Support said they can't help me unless I have the unit with me... Doesn't do any good when it's in the field.

Designed for good to great service areas…
Figured I’d give the “new” model a chance. Still asking myself “why”…
I’ve had all iterations of the Micro camera - and they all have the same annoying issues: low quality nighttime pics, terrible battery life (most likely due to the hundreds of images captured of nothing more than shadows), and my favorite….they all require a “good” signal to [stay] operational. If your service is spotty you can forget about relying on these cameras to actually provide accurate, timely info from the field. Not gonna happen. Once the signal falls below the “good” threshold you have to go physically address the issue; otherwise it literally sends ZERO images.
IMHO, getting the cameras on sale and doing the free monthly plan is the only recommendation I can make in good conscience.
Full disclosure, if your service/signal is really good I believe you might find success with the SP line-up.

2x the MEGAPIXELS of the original LINK-MICRO’s
I was very excited when I heard they were coming out with the LM2 and hearing that they had increased the megapixels from 10 to 20 was music to my ears. Loved my original LINK-MICROS and couldn’t be happier getting some of these out in the field. Very happy with the quality, reliability and affordability of the LM2!

Horrible
Bought the camera yesterday and it won’t register. Called support, waited 3 hours to talk to someone and they had no idea anything about the camera And didn’t speak English. Their solution was just to leave the camera on for 48 hours and see if it just magically registers. Returned to academy sports.

Simple no frills camera
Setup was a breeze and worked great for about 3 days then completely stopped syncing. Cameras were set up at the lease over an hour away so couldn't get there for about a week. Tried everything but still nothing. Finally decided to read memory card to see if it's even taking pictures. Found that the new card that came with camera from spypoint was bad. Changed to a new card and haven't had issues since. I'd suggest just getting a good card from the start. We've had several this year fail (all the original cards)

The LM2 is AWESOME!
I placed my new LM2 out a couple weeks ago in an area that has terrible cell reception. I was hopeful the LM2 would have enough signal to transmit, but I had my doubts. Needless to say the LM2 transmitted dozens of great pictures flawlessly! I would highly recommend this camera!

Awesome
I was given this camera for Christmas. I had some issues with the activation, (my fault). Called customer service and they walked me through the process and got it working in no time.
It has been running for 24 hours, taken 20 photos and is working better than expected considering the cell service can be poor at times.
I don't know how much my daughter paid for this camera, but so far I'd say it's worth every penny.
I definitely will be recommending this camera to all of my hunting buddies. 👍👍

Great camera terrible accuracy and battery life
I get a few hundred photos a day of nothing. Aa batteries last about 3 days if I’m lucky. Unable to update camera due to lack of computer and skills necessary to rewrite a sd card

LM2 Trail Cameras Easy to Use
My first two cameras had to be returned because they would not update properly. Skypoint sent me two new ones immediately. They worked perfectly and in less than 1 hour I had them working and ready to place in the woods. They are working well at this point. I did update the battery pack to the rechargeable product and external antennas that are mounted 15 feet up I tree for perfect signal strength. All and all it is a learning process. I will buy more product.

So far I have bought four and three have problems
Cheap cameras, yes, but st what cost? I had to return one for a replacement. Neither of the ones on my new two pack are working well. They burn extra pictures every four hours for no reason. Picture quality is low as would
Be expected at this price point. I regret buying these. I’d suggest getting somethjng with automatic or cellular firmware updates i stead of the unzipped card method. Never seems to
Work without great difficulty.

Easy setup and reliable service in my area.
It's been a couple weeks since I setup my LM2's on my property and I'm happy about the performance of the cams. The photos provided are clear enough to make out animals and people with about 20 feet or so, but anything further away will be very grainy. I haven't had a chance to view the photos from the SD card yet so I'm hoping those will be of better quality.

It works!
It's working. So far it's doing everything it was purchased for trail/security very well. Do not like the ads when trying open app and being pushed to join an added membership to unlock other features after doing the premium plan. Should have done a little more research on useability but i don't have anything to compare to; they may all have these aggravations.

Very easy setup with QR code
Very easy setup with QR code. Still working with sensitivity.
Once thing i would like to mention is the cost of the unlimited plans when setting up multiple devices. At 15.00 a pop for each camera it gets pricey. Other device brands offer discounts for multiple devices. Such as 15.00 for first camera and 5.00 a month for any additional cameras.

I bought 2 of these cameras, on the advise of my brothers, to use them on my hunting property. Unfortunately mine was a newer model and did not have the GPS capability. The camera works find and is very easy to set up. If my property wasn’t so far away, I would have bought one with the GPS capability.

Good camera
Bought just over a month ago and have barely any complaints, always get pictures within 2-4 minutes and have never messed up once. The only thing I wish was better was the picture quality, you can tell what it is your looking at 93% of the time but every once in a while you have absolutely no idea.

LM2 cameras
I have 2 of these cameras and neither one of them will transmit photos can't get them to work. Tried to do the firmware update and they wouldn't take the firmware update. It really stinks when you get a product and they don't even work more than a month out of the almost a year that you have them.

East batteries
Has sent 98 out of a 100 pictures to my phone from the backyard. Eats batteries like candy kind of defeats the purpose of not having to go pull the Sd Card to check. I have ordinary trail cams set up in northern Alberta 450 miles from my home that go a year and some are still 50% juice left.

Set it up properly and you'll be happy
Been using it about a month and very satisfied. Setup was easy and once I picked a plan my photos started rolling in. One thing I discovered is to point your camera so you take advantage of natural lighting. Too much light sky will make everything else in the picture come out dark.

First Cell Cam!!! 💥💥💥
Great camera and a breeze to setup! For my application and setting, it used the double A batteries pretty quick so I order the SpyPoint Solar panel with integrated battery and it never went down or stopped taking and sending photos. Truly a great combo!!!

Small but mighty!
I bought the LM2 camera as a test to find out if cell cameras worked well. This camera has exceeded my expectations as it’s easy to operate from your cell phone. It made my trail cameras obsolete as I have instant evidence of wildlife activity.

What is the difference between USA nationwide and USA Vzn?
Hello; Thank you for your question. The primary difference between the USA Nationwide and USA Verizon models lies in their connectivity options. The USA Verizon model is designed exclusively for Verizon’s network, ensuring reliable performance for users in areas with strong Verizon coverage. In contrast, the USA Nationwide model connects to a broader range of cellular service providers; this means that the Nationwide model is optimized to find and connect to the best available signal from various national carriers, providing greater flexibility and potentially connectivity in areas where Verizon service may be limited. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.

Any suggestions on setup to eliminate taking multiple photos of shadows? The camera is pointed south covering an open area and I don't want to change its location. I have the camera set at the low sensitivity. My 3 other link micro work fine. Thanks.
Hello lilbear, Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds like your camera may be experiencing false triggers, which could have several potential causes. Damage to the Fresnel lens or obstructions on it may be leading to false detections. Please check the lens for any damage or obstructions. Consider, if possible, the camera's placement in relation to the sun, as sunlight movements can mimic heat motion and cause unnecessary triggers; reflective surfaces or objects like grass and branches may also be contributing to false triggers. We recommend testing the camera in front of a blank wall to troubleshoot installation issues. If false triggers cease in this setup, it suggests an installation-related issue. If the situation persists, consider updating the firmware. If you continue to encounter difficulties, feel free to contact us directly at 1 888 779-7646 or through our chat service at https://www.spypoint.com/en/chat. We're here to assist you and resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Have a great day.

What speed of SD card should be used on LM2
Hello DM74, Thank you for your question. For optimal performance and compatibility with your LM2 camera, it is recommended to use a MicroSD card with capacities ranging from 2GB to 32GB, adhering to the SDHC Class 10 standard. This ensures a minimum non-fragmented sequential write speed of 10 MB/s, vital for smooth camera operation. Avoid cards larger than 32 GB, as they won't be supported. Have a great day.
