The internal battery can be used alongside the eight-AA battery tray or the LIT-22 lithium battery installed as well, extending battery life even further. The solar is only as good as the sky. semi-cloudy days will have your camera dead in no time. I used the instant photo feature last night around 7:30pm. one came through at 11pm and the other is still "processing" at 8:20am

So far the solar with the built in lithium have kept it running at full strength. The pictures are really good and I'll switch it over to video mode soon. It has the on demand feature that'll test out eventually.

The picture quality and speed are absolutely awesome. The overall camera features you get with this unit are everything you could want with a cell trail camera. The ability to change over to instant mode and check status or take a pic to make sure your camera is operating is a piece of mind. I’ve been getting as many as 250-300 pics daily with it set up on a mineral lick & water trough and solar battery life appears to be very good. Which I’m running good AA batteries as back up but at this point it will be a long list of circumstances for me to have to worry about using the back- up batteries. The internal solar battery is impressive. In my opinion SPYPOINT has done a great job with the Flex S with all the features a hunter would ever need. I’ll also over the years I’ve had a few occasions to interact with SPYPOINT customer service using the online chat feature and have always received prompt and very helpful service. I would specifically give “Ann” that helped get this camera swapped over to my unlimited plan a big thank you. She was very helpful and in literally minutes had what I needed done. I personally hold SPYPOINT as the best & easiest customer service I’ve dealt with in 15 years of running cell cameras on my place. Just a good company putting out some fantastic products.

It works great and transmits even faster. Since it's solar, I'm not at all worried about the battery life and have rechargeable battery with it. So far I am loving this camera and I will be buying more in the future.

Also, the solar recharge & Wi-Fi transmission mean I don't have to move to change batteries or retrieve cards. I get to see bush activity 24/7/365 from my armchair. The easy setup & transmission range exceeded my hopes!

Wasnt aware of having to pay for HD pictures, free pictures are pretty grainy, but they show what is needed, so can't complain for a company that finally doesnt force you to buy a monthly plan.

One thing I would like to see is if I am using the camera for security purposes is if a object remains in the cameras field of view the camera, the camera needs automatically take a ten or fiveteen second video of the object.

Went through that on the first few days . But I guess they want you to pay more money . My Cell-link on the other hand is a piece of junk. Won’t be buying those anymore. Lesson learned !

I purchased the unlimited option once I realized how much information I was getting at my feeder. And the best part was that I snagged a very fine specimen within one week of use.

I use them for security and I've gotten some really clear pictures of the criminals next door so it helps the sheriff out a lot. Also, I've gotten some neat wildlife pictures too.

A little info about the importance of fully charged AA batteries in the operation of the solar Flex might be a good idea? Otherwise it is a great camera!

The added on demand and instant mode is a game changer! The solar panel eliminates trips afield so decreasing scent in your hunting area is quite the bonus.

The mount base is inside the rails of the solar panel and cannot fit inside the rails. That is my only complaint, the camera is great, and takes very good photos

It has been out in the field now for almost 7 months and has taken a few thousand or more pictures and still reads a 98% battery. Great to not have to go to it and change batteries.

Bought 4 of them and they have been taking great pictures and batteries are fully charged even when taking pictures all night right now. So far I love them.

It has all the features I’ve come to love on all the other flex series , but the built in solar panel should keep me from resupplying batteries as often. This camera will be perfect for those deep , hard to reach areas.

Couldn’t activate camera. It said it had wrong activation code. Your tech figured it out pretty quick and it’s working perfectly

I would get up to an hour I would get 40 to 50 photos. With nothing there not only one camera or two cameras never happened before

I really like this product.

The only problem I’ve had with either is that sometimes when I switch it back from instant to standard is that the camera will stop taking pictures until I go to the woods and turn it off and back on.
