Rated 3 out of 5 by Shelz from Mixed emotions I have 3 Micro LTE S cameras and they work most of the time, I have 1 Micro LTE, 1 Flex and 1 Dark, the Dark only worked one season, the Micro LTE S cameras have been the most reliable but I have even had to have one of them replaced. Over all I do think these are good cameras for the money but the customer service is subpar, my husband has 4 of the Flex cameras and 2 of them constantly tell him that the sd card is having issues and one of them is 6 hours away so when customer service tells him that he has to have the camera in hand to be able to help him, that just isn’t an option. Also my comment to SpyPoint would be, why do you only respond to the reviews that people post that are good reviews? I’m curious what the response is to the people that have posted reviews on here that have had worse issues than I have?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dead Batteries from I bought is camera because it was Solar and I would not have to replace the batteries all the time espeically since I want to use it for videos ! so first thing when it sends you a video you only get a clip of the video which you cant see much of anything if you want to see the whole video you have to pay extra for the HD video so there is a charge per video and then there is another charge to get the whole video ! it becomes expensive. the other thing it really runs off the batteries you install for backup I found out !! I have my camera on a open field facing south and the battery life status is 100 % good, it stops working no pictures for 5 days so you have to bring the camera down try and call support forget that left a message said they would call back in a hour they never called in 2 days so used the chat to find out the battery life was 100% but my batteries I put in I thought for back up were dead !! so now I have 8 new AA batteries in and it works so I have to go back up the mountain and install it he said I was taking videos to close together maybe ??? omg I just switched in back to pictures and hope these batteries well last another month until deer season is over. Terrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cindy from Very sensitive The pictures are good, but I am on my third replacement due to multiple photos of the same picture being sent. I hope this one doesn't do that or I will have to figure out the next step. I cannot recommend this camera until I have one that works correctly. I like the fact that I don't have to go through so many batteries, as that was one of the reasons I chose to try it. Customer service for me has always been awesome! Thar is the main reason I stick with Spypoint.

Every evening after being in the sun all day, the battery power is always right back up to 100 percent! I'm not sure when I'll need to change out or charge the battery, but it will probably be a while! This is good news as I live about 2 hours from our hunting property where the camera is. The solar power has sure simplified things!

Also the Flex-S has very quick trigger speed combined with up to 100 foot detection range. Using the APP I can receive photos & see the battery % where the Solar panel has been kept power around 96% & more. Also in the APP you can change to photo or video without any issue & how frequently you want them sent to your phone.

Love it , nice clear pics , easy to use for us old guys ;) Only issue for me is signal in a forested area. Hard to improve im sure but would be nice. For me it was worth the $. Like i said , for us grey hairs it sure helps when it is easy to set up and use. Also when you contact Spypoint the agents are awesum ! I know where the animals are as they pass through the cameras view when a photo is texted to my phone instantly. It has helped us keep track of deer and hogs on the property without the worry of having to change out batteries and going into the areas and leaving scent. I would recommend this camera to anyone and everyone that uses cell cameras.

The onboard solar battery and panel do a great job of keeping up with daily video uploads, even when sending lots of pictures, and even in the winter. To that end, in low light/cold weather, a backup solar panel or external battery certainly helps. Go with a large SD card to really minimize intrusion onto your hunting area, too.

These cameras work where no other ones will, so when I saw a solar Flex coming, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one! I placed this camera in a remote area, because I know I won’t need to go to change batteries every month, and I can say that it definitely has not disappointed! Keep up the good work Spypoint, you have a satisfied customer here for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rancher2 from Great product I purchase these cameras for my ranch for keeping track of cattle and my water troughs have saved me multiple times my ranch is very remote and when everything is good it saves me trips and valuable time and when I have problems I can get out there and get the water lines fixed before they run out of water a real blessing for me. The price of the cameras and the plan is cheap by comparison to the problems and the needless trips they save me.

It is picking up deer at distances that none of my other cameras would have caught. The clarity of the pics are amazing. I put this camera out where there will be soybeans planted in a few weeks. As expected the solar panel is keeping my battery percentage at 100% so there will be no need in making a special trip in to change batteries once the crops are planted. Loving this camera!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joe D from Performs better than expected We are located in a remote area 6 hours from home where there is no electricity or wifi and a weak phone signal. I selected the Flex S with the Lit 22 battery for those reasons. It found two bars in phone signal and even though we have no direct sunlight on the solar screen, the camera has maintained it's battery charge for 2 months after 150 pictures. Since this camera is a security system for my camp, we are more than pleased!

The solar battery just drains over a few days and I have to bring it back to house for recharge. I have Duracell backup batteries in it and it seems to use these more than solar. I alsos have a Link-micro-s-lte that has no problems with solar recharge. Both cameras are in full sunlight. I do not recommend the flex-s-dgec. I’m going to have to look for something else.

The SpyPoint Flex-S is a game changer for me! I set this camera out on a lease that is less than convenient to travel to, making the solar charged camera a huge reason driving my purchase. Batteries are expensive and expire quickly, but solar panel keeps this camera going! The app is extremely easy to use and set up, and is web based so I can access my pictures from my phone or computer as needed. On top of being so easy to use, the HD video is phenomenal quality! Spypoint offers a free photo plan, but the money I’m saving in gas to not have to drive 30+ miles to check the camera easily makes higher plans affordable! Oh, and this camera has GPS built in, so I know I can track it down if it happens to move from where I set it up!

Video and picture quality is fantastic, it is very nice not having to go to the stand to change batteries and I save on my fuel and time because of this. Additionally not disturbing my hunting area with unneeded trips as I find this will make impact the area with to much activity. A very good investment for this camera.

I am using them for security purposes but the wildlife is interesting too. It would be nice to have a plan for unlimited photo transmission that would cover multiple cameras. I only have a single unlimited plan at present which is at my busiest location but I am a somewhat reluctant to spend $100 for each of my 3 cameras.

When it gets to low AA don’t seem to kick in as no more pics are transmitted. There needs to be a battery than can e used in place of AA that the solar charges. I have link micro solar and they lasts months and solar battery charges way better than flex solar. Do it waste your money on flex solar just buy link micro solar

Rated 5 out of 5 by mxzxops from Reliable, love the solar option. I have a few of the FLEX-S cameras. They have been working great. Having the solar option is a game changer for most cameras. Let alone the Cellular ones. I rarely have to visit the camera site now. Just occasionally switch out the backup AA batteries to prevent corrosion. Service is spotty in my area, but still able to receive pictures no problem. Highly recommend these cameras, especially with the solar option.

The only problem I have is that my cell phone is older and the app for notifications no longer work and my phone does not support the newer app available. Unfortunately I uninstalled my older app to reinstall and fix it so now I'm totally without the notifications.

The "call me back" function, I called at noon... they called me back at midnight or 1am three times in a row! very frustrating. had to wait 3 weeks for a refund. The monthly plan rates are very reasonable.... and a great product... just hope you don't have to use use customer service, they are a call centre in the philipenes and call back at ridiculous hours.

So far impressed with the fact the power still shows close to 100% ( courtesy of the solar panel) and with the addition of a cell extender, getting pics on a regular and consistent basis where the cell coverage is usually not too good. I am 1200 miles away and can manage everything via my Spy point App . Pretty impressed.

Connecting the Flex-S to the app was effortless as well. One of my biggest peeves is replacing batteries in cameras and with the Flex-S I no longer have to worry about it. If you are looking for a knock out camera that will save you money in the long run, this is it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by sloppy slap stick from Very dissapointing I purchased one of these in sept 2023, it worked for three weeks then went through a bunch of crap YES crap to get it replaced ! finally got it replaced the new one worked for about three weeks , then boom !! same problem AGAIN , and again back on customer SUPPORT WASTING more of my time. Now I'm not going to say spy point camera are not good, because they are, I have two link micro and they work perfectly !! but SPY POINT SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE that there is something definitely wrong with this camera . After reading several reviews on this camera, as well you tube reviews etc etc etc and etc, they all reported the same thing , the camera just stopped working. I must say they did replace my FLEX S the first time with a new FLEX S but that stopped working , so I was offered to replace it again with that same camera but I declined, I choose the FLEX G36 , hopefully this one will work as good as my link micros . Like I said Spypoint puts out good cameras, but the FLEX S has some major issues that need to get sorted out !! listen to your customers SPYPOINT .
