With true Dual SIM technology, the FLEX-PLUS comes pre-loaded with two preactivated SIM cards that ensure cross-carrier coverage on all major cellular networks and continuous connectivity to the best coverage in the area. Setting up the FLEX-PLUS is simple, with mobile activation and on-camera buttons that allow you to format the required microSD card (not included) and take a test photo.
The camera offers four capture modes: Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, and Time-Lapse+. The Time-Lapse function takes photos at your preferred interval. The Time-Lapse+ function takes photos at your preferred interval and when the camera’s detection sensor is triggered, perfect for monitoring large areas beyond the camera’s detection range. The FLEX-PLUS also features Instant Mode, which allows you to change settings and request on-demand or high-definition photos and videos instantly via the SPYPOINT app. The responsive trigger optimizes the camera’s settings for the exact conditions at the time of the photo to deliver the best quality image, every time. Equipped with Constant Capture technology, the FLEX-PLUS can send and capture simultaneously, so you won’t miss a minute of action in the field. Cold weather camera!!!

Best bang for your buck
I have always loved Spypoint cameras and their products. When I heard about the Flex-Plus I knew I had to get one, because some of the areas I have on my property make it difficult for me to go and constantly change out batteries as they are deep in the woods. It would be a great idea to have a solar panel hooked up to a camera, but again, because the camera is deep in the woods and doesn't get the best sun light through the tree tops, that's out.
With the two battery packs, I'm able to keep the Flex-Plus out in the field for longer, without having to worry about the batteries dying on me. By the same token, I don't have to disturb the area it is currently observing to change out batteries. This way prevents my scent from being tracked around in the area.
This camera is also ideal for those that can't always go to their property to maintain cameras. For example, the property I mainly hunt at is almost 4 hours away and don't always make trips out there to check on cameras. It may be a month before I do. A camera like this can go a long time without having to worry about changing batteries.

Review after 14 months
Good picture quality, bought the Flex Plus because I can't get to the cameras that often so wanted battery longevity. As a test i bought the lithium battery packs from Spy Point and put in 2 cameras and regular lithium AA batteries on 2 other cameras. Both battery styles lasted 5 months in the field without issue. Lithium AA batteries had a stronger charge at the end of the 5 month cycles, but had no issues with the lithium battery pack. AA lithium batteries would be significantly cheaper in this case with better performance. I have had 2 antennae break, one covered by warranty one not. This is a weak point of the in the camera, picture attached. The failure point was the same in both cameras. It is easy to get cameras up and running and integrate with App. My cameras are remote but able to connect to cell towers and transmit well. overall I like them and would recommend them but Spy Point needs to improve the antenna design and/or cover by warranty. Up to the antenna issue customer service via chat is responsive and pleasant, had a camera out of the box not working, they sent a new one in short order but prepare to spend time with customer service. Question below asks if I received an incentive for this review, i did not I have zero disclosures, no is not an available answer so i'm concerned the review might be filtered out because i gave it 3 stars.

Instant Mode Forever
I was recently looking for a way to be able to run Instant Mode indefinitely. Instant Mode allows you to be able to get photos or videos on demand as soon as you hit the button on the App. It also will send back HD requests instantly as well. The Flex-S has Instant Mode but in my testing it would slowly drain the internal battery when left on Instant Mode. When Spypoint released the Flex they did so with it having the Instant Mode available. I picked one up and attached a solar/battery panel and put it in the field. So far it has been on Instant Mode for a couple months without draining the solar pack at all. I like being able to use Instant Mode to request photos on a trail I have had trespasser issues on previously. If I get a photo of someone off in the distance a bit, I can request another photo to see where they are headed. Even if they are out of the detection range. It also means I can request HD photos and videos and have them back within a few seconds. Another nice feature when trespassers are around my cameras. This camera is my second one as I liked the first one so much. I have the same solar setup for this one and it has been running well for over a week. This one is sitting on a food plot and I use Instant Mode to check the food plot before I walk into it. This should be helpful come season. If you want Instant Mode this is the method I would use. It gives you the best bang for the buck. The photos I have attached are not the HD photos. These are only the thumbnails this camera sends back. I will likely be buying one more for a second food plot I have.

Hello there. If you're referring to the FLEX-PLUS model, the device does not have a built-in solar panel; however, it is compatible with the SPYPOINT solar panel (5W or 10W). If your intention is to install a solar panel on your FLEX-PLUS, find a location where the panel will receive as much direct sunlight as possible and use the supplied brackets to mount it. Typically, the panel should face south. On another note, the FLEX-PLUS features Instant Mode and On-Demand Request, which allow you to communicate with the camera at any time—not just during the next scheduled sync.
