I set this camera up a month ago, and it is a workhorse! The setup process was easy on the app. I love adding two trays of AA batteries or two lit-22 batteries. My camera is hooked up to a SpyPoint Solar panel, and the battery life has been solid. The 48-megapixel camera makes the pictures sharp, and if I want HD photos, I can do that on the app. The video mode is excellent, too. I highly recommend this camera be put in a place where you want to gather lots of intel, and it can sit all season! Keep up the great work, SpyPoint!

Flex Plus Camera
I bought this camera with the intention of seldom visits to the site to install fresh batteries. It has the 2 battery trays and other great ideas in a camera. One being the ability to check the status and the other to take an instant picture. But my camera would only stay online for less than a day and then I would need to visit to turn off and back on to get it working. it seems like when it went to sleep it would not wake up. no pictures no communications. I had a 100% cell coverage and 100% battery levels. I returned it as was not reliable

Disappointed again
The 2 reasons I bought this camera and both failed. It does not update on its own. Set the schedule and it just randomly takes pictures when ever it wants the time frame you set means nothing to the camera.

Long battery Life without the big package
I was looking for more battery life in places where solar was not an option, yet I didn't want to have to carry in a 12 volt battery. These cameras with double the typical battery capacity is just what I needed. You can put these in places to minimize disturbance on your ground which has been a key to my success in the past... minimal intrusion!

This camera has the ability to take a photo on command which is an awesome feature for checking your plots whenever you want. The double battery tray which holds 16 batteries assures you won’t have to go into the field often to change them! HD 1080p videos with sounds as well as HD photos make this camera tough to beat.

CRAZY battery life!
I have been running this camera for a couple months now, it’s been a workhorse! Battery life is amazing with the dual battery compartments! Having that extra battery life gives me the opportunity to stay out of my hunting spot longer to ensure I’m not leaving my scent everywhere or alerting deer I am in the area! Looks like I’m gonna need to pick me up a couple more for the fall! I am very pleased with the functionality of this new FLEX-PLUS camera!

Good reception and great pictures
I had a LM2 in this same location and could not get good enough reception to send out pictures. Replaced the LM2 with the Flex-Plus and started receiving pictures right away. Picture quality and battery life is also a plus.

Pair this with a solar panel!
I got this camera when I seen it came with two battery trays in the hopes I could set it and not enter my hunting area again until season opener. I decided to pair it with a spypoint solar panel to be sure and it has barely moved on battery in the few months its been out there! Taking 20-30 videos a day the solar panel is at 85% and the battery trays are still at 100%! I would reccomend this if you want to set it and forget it!

This camera is a unit!!
If you want a camera that will last half the year without having to change the batteries, look no more! Currently I'm at 52% on my first battery tray that has been out for 3 months, it hasn't even switched to the second battery tray! The added battery capacity makes this camera a bit heavier than other cameras, but it's super worth it. The 1080p videos that this cellular camera records are super crisp. Couldn't be happier!

J'ai installé ma flex-plus pour ma chasse a l'ours afin d'avoir une bonne autonomie et ne pas déranger mon site pendant la chasse. Extra battery tray is Genesis!
Happy to say this camera has proven to be an excellent upgrade with the additional battery tray, which adds double the life out of the use without having to step foot in the field and replace batteries. Love the extended battery life
I’ve been using this camera for a few months now. Extended battery capacity is great, although I’m still on the first tray of batteries and it’s been hanging in use now for 3+ months. Terrible Build Quality and Poor Functionality
I have used many trail/ game cameras as a wildlife professional and I would not recommend this model except in very specific circumstances. First, the camera sticks out like a sore thumb due to the extra battery pack (depth is 4"), so it's difficult to hide in high traffic areas. The camera also has significant issues with the battery packs (e.g., doesn't switch to the rear pack after the front dies and the camera sometimes stops taking pictures after only 1 day of use with new batteries installed). I often drive many hours to deploy each camera and these issues can add full extra days to my work schedule. Finally, the plastic housing is delicate and cracks easily.
If you want a camera to monitor activity close to your house, these are probably fine minus the battery issues, but I would seriously consider another model or manufacturer if you're planning on using these for wildlife field work or hunting trips far from home.

Flawed Product
I bought this less than a year ago due to have a dual battery tray, with the intention of putting this camera at a hunting spot 2 hours away. I purchased the LIT-22 battery pack, ,Spypoint SD card, and the unlimited plan. A month in my Spypoint SD card failed and I lost everything. I had to constantly drive over two hours to manually restart the camera. This year I upgraded the SD card to the exact specs that were given to me from customer service, and only made it 1.5 months before I was just told that my SD card probably failed again. Once again I have to go up there, at my expense, to manually restart the camera to troubleshoot. My expectations are I will be told that I need yet another new SD card. They have a faulty product and won't stand behind it for any kind of compensation or refund. I'll be moving myself and my family/friends all to a competitor because in less than a year I've spent more money trying to fix the camera, than what the camera is worth. DO NOT BUY!!!

Battery life
Love the picture quality and the battery life 2 months running strong on lithium AA battery's in a high traffic area the option to be able to run 1 or both packs is awesome so if you want to keep one full pack on hand and you go to that location pretty regular would definitely recommend

I love the dual battery compartment
The flex plus I really like the dual battery compartment. Saves me gas money from going out to change batteries when I can double up in the camera. Picture quality is great as well as the video quality. This is one of my most dependable cameras. It doesn’t miss a beat. I had this Bear at my deer hunting rounds the picture quality is amazing. Set it and forget it
The flex plus is a game changer. I no longer have to worry about battery life with the battery capacity the Flex plus has. Most of my cameras are 600 miles away and some are unable to be powered by a solar panel. In the past my cameras would be dead before I could make it back up to change batteries, now I don’t have to worry about that or having to scent you an area to put new batteries in my camera. I also like the instant picture option and the ability to swap from photo to video

Double the power
This camera is great for those spots you can’t go to as much to change batteries. The double battery capacity is a huge upgrade especially when paired the the lit 22 rechargeable lithium battery packs. That’s the combo I run and they last for a long time. I am also a huge fan of the instant mode. I set this camera in an open hard woods and actually like to get and instant photo before I enter the woods to make sure everything is clear. Should be a huge help this season.

The dual battery packs are very much a game-changer. No more having to replace batteries all the time; you can either hot-swap trays, or let the system truly shine with two LIT-22 battery packs and an SPLB-22 solar panel. Setup was a breeze as always, and it's very nice to see battery life of each pack in the app. I haven't tried running in Instant mode yet, but think I'll put this to the test come deer season. Photo and video quality are excellent as always.

Best all around camera!
This thing is a beast! Large camera with extra large capacity and capabilities! I put this camera over a food plot in order to utilize the instant picture and video mode. I like to make sure there isn’t anything on the plot when I’m heading back to hunt. The quality of pictures and videos is through the roof. Add that to the double battery capacity and added SPLB 10 solar panel, I’ll never have to worry about the batteries running out. I love this thing!

Great camera for deep woods
This camera is the best choice for those deep spots you want to minimize human activity. The dual battery option keeps you from having to go in and change your batteries because it has 2 battery trays. The photo and video quality is excellent, daytime and nighttime. If you are serious hunter I would highly recommend this camera. If you just want a camera you don’t have to worry about changing batteries often I would recommend this camera also.

I bought this camera due to its impressive features and have been very happy with the results. The detection and flash range is very, very impressive and allows me to use the camera in areas where I'm just not too sure where the buck might pass through. The instant mode is also a great additional feature. My very favorite thing about the camera is its long battery life, allowing it to stay out for months with no issues. STRONGLY reccomend.

Hello there. If you're referring to the FLEX-PLUS model, the device does not have a built-in solar panel; however, it is compatible with the SPYPOINT solar panel (5W or 10W). If your intention is to install a solar panel on your FLEX-PLUS, find a location where the panel will receive as much direct sunlight as possible and use the supplied brackets to mount it. Typically, the panel should face south. On another note, the FLEX-PLUS features Instant Mode and On-Demand Request, which allow you to communicate with the camera at any time—not just during the next scheduled sync. This means you can request a status update, as well as on-demand photos or videos. Hello Bob, The camera is designed to automatically connect to the strongest available network provider in the area where it’s installed. If the location has limited or no signal, the camera will continue to take photos and store them locally on the SD card. If I were to place two cameras in an area with no cell signal and one in an area with cell signal, will the two without cell signal send images to the one with for upload to the app?

Each camera is equipped with its own preactivated SIM card, which it uses independently to communicate and transmit pictures to the app. Cameras do not share connections or transfer images between one another. However, the two cameras without signal will still save images locally on their SD cards, which can be accessed directly from the camera
