With true Dual SIM technology, the FLEX-PLUS comes pre-loaded with two preactivated SIM cards that ensure cross-carrier coverage on all major cellular networks and continuous connectivity to the best coverage in the area. Setting up the FLEX-PLUS is simple, with mobile activation and on-camera buttons that allow you to format the required microSD card (not included) and take a test photo.
The camera offers four capture modes: Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, and Time-Lapse+. The Time-Lapse function takes photos at your preferred interval. The Time-Lapse+ function takes photos at your preferred interval and when the camera’s detection sensor is triggered, perfect for monitoring large areas beyond the camera’s detection range. The FLEX-PLUS also features Instant Mode, which allows you to change settings and request on-demand or high-definition photos and videos instantly via the SPYPOINT app. The responsive trigger optimizes the camera’s settings for the exact conditions at the time of the photo to deliver the best quality image, every time. Equipped with Constant Capture technology, the FLEX-PLUS can send and capture simultaneously, so you won’t miss a minute of action in the field. The FLEX-PLUS is also GPS-enabled to work with the maps feature on the SPYPOINT app.

The Batteries Last and Last and Last
With the double battery trays my Flex is still at 90% with alkalines after almost 5 weeks of heavy traffic. The pics are also very clear in both day and night!

The is a solid example of what a camera should be
I love the plus I paired it with the solar panel from spypoint and the lit22 when I put it up last July and I’ve never had to disturb my hunting area since

Must have a bad one
I purchased my flex-plus in August of 2024 and I'm on my third set of batteries.
If the battery indicator shows two lights the camera will not work.

Camera worth 5stars but plans worth 1
Overall the cameras are great. But when you have to purchase individual plans per camera that's where I have a hard time.

Instant Mode Forever
I was recently looking for a way to be able to run Instant Mode indefinitely. Instant Mode allows you to be able to get photos or videos on demand as soon as you hit the button on the App. It also will send back HD requests instantly as well. The Flex-S has Instant Mode but in my testing it would slowly drain the internal battery when left on Instant Mode. When Spypoint released the Flex they did so with it having the Instant Mode available. I picked one up and attached a solar/battery panel and put it in the field. So far it has been on Instant Mode for a couple months without draining the solar pack at all. I like being able to use Instant Mode to request photos on a trail I have had trespasser issues on previously. If I get a photo of someone off in the distance a bit, I can request another photo to see where they are headed. Even if they are out of the detection range. It also means I can request HD photos and videos and have them back within a few seconds. Another nice feature when trespassers are around my cameras. This camera is my second one as I liked the first one so much. I have the same solar setup for this one and it has been running well for over a week. This one is sitting on a food plot and I use Instant Mode to check the food plot before I walk into it. This should be helpful come season. If you want Instant Mode this is the method I would use. It gives you the best bang for the buck. The photos I have attached are not the HD photos. These are only the thumbnails this camera sends back. I will likely be buying one more for a second food plot I have.

Questions

If I were to place two cameras in an area with no cell signal and one in an area with cell signal, will the two without cell signal send images to the one with for upload to the app?
Hello, thank you for your question. Each camera is equipped with its own preactivated SIM card, which it uses independently to communicate and transmit pictures to the app. Cameras do not share connections or transfer images between one another. However, the two cameras without signal will still save images locally on their SD cards, which can be accessed directly from the camera

Is there a way to “select all” when reviewing photos in the app? Going through photos and having to individually either save or delete photos is cumbersome. An ability to remotely power cameras on/off from the app would be a bonus.
Hello Calbon, we do have the option to select all photos from a one-month period. To delete them, simply hold down one of the images, and you will be able to see the option to select all. Regarding your suggestion about remotely powering the cameras on and off, I will forward your request to the concerned department for further consideration.

Can both the flex M and flex 36 cameras take photos with no cell service? Basically work as a standard non cell camera and have to manually check SD card. Secondly what is the difference between these 2 models?
Hello, Thank you for reaching out with your inquiry. Both the FLEX-M and FLEX-G-36 cameras are designed to function as hybrid cameras. They can capture photos as triggered by changes in heat and movement, even without cellular service. However, the transmission of images to the app relies on a cellular connection. If you wish to use either camera as a standard non-cellular camera, you can disable the cellular feature through the app. Photos will then be stored on the microSD card, which you can manually retrieve at your convenience. Regarding the differences between the FLEX-M and FLEX-G-36, the FLEX-G-36 is designed to capture higher-definition images with its 36MP photo resolution compared to the 28MP of the FLEX-M. It also features a faster trigger speed of 0.3 seconds and a longer flash and detection range of up to 100 feet, making it ideal for scenarios where capturing swift or distant activity is crucial. Additionally, the FLEX-G-36 records 1080p videos, while the FLEX-M offers 720p video resolution. Both cameras support photo and video transmission via LTE and full configurability through the SPYPOINT app. They also share capabilities like Time-Lapse+ mode, multi-shot mode (up to 3 photos per detection), and sound recording for videos. However, in terms of illumination, both models use 4 Power LEDs but with slightly varying performance due to the differences in flash range and trigger speed. The FLEX-M has a flash and detection range of up to 90 feet and a trigger speed of 0.4 seconds. For power options, both models are compatible with the LIT-22 battery pack or 8 AA batteries, and they support external DC 12V power inputs. Physically, the cameras are identical in dimensions and mount compatibility. Let us know if you have further questions—we’re here to help.

Is there more than one 1/4 20 tripod mount, and where located?
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The FLEX-PLUS camera includes a single 1/4"-20 tripod mount, which is located on the bottom of the camera for easy mounting on tripods or other compatible mounting equipment. If you're looking for additional mounting accessories, we offer a variety of installation accessories on our website. You can check them out using this link: https://www.spypoint.com/en/products/accessories#Installation. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Is on demand the same as live streaming? Can I see what the camera is seeing live (not motion detected)?
Hello, Thank you for your question. The on-demand is different from live streaming. On-demand allows you to request photos or videos from the camera at any time, a feature that lets you check in on your camera's view whenever you want; however, it doesn't provide a real-time continuous live stream. You can request the camera to take a photo or video on demand, and it will send that image or clip to you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns.
