Its dual-SIM connectivity and user-friendly app made it particularly appealing as I manage multiple cameras and run them in areas that don’t have the best coverage. A Great Buy for Hobby Users
So I have a rental property that I'm renovating 175 miles away from home and wanted a cellular camera provide me with photos of activity around the property when I'm not present. I looked for the most cost effective camera and this one provided free registration and photo access of the first 100 photos. Setup was easy, communication is great because the house in a rural area that I cannot get cellular service. So far it has proved its worth because I have capture a stranger wondering around the property. Picture is pretty clear and the batteries (regular alkaline) seem to be holding up fine. The only thing that I would complain about and maybe its me but the location of the camera keeps pinging to where my phone is. So maybe its something I'm not doing right but other than that I'm very happy with the product.

Great looking pictures, great customer service
I bought 4 cameras for deer hunting and the app worked great and the setup was easy. I did not properly format my sd cards and was getting no pictures. I went to support and started a chat. Within a few minutes the specialist saw the problem and told me to hold the format button until the red light started blinking green. That was the problem and all 4 cameras are sending great looking pictures. The cameras are great and if you have a problem support can easily fix it.

The worst hunting product. I installed this camera one day, and it immediately glitched—it's a buggy product where nothing can be done about it, not even by customer support. The camera just keeps sending the same photos over and over without any warning. According to support, it's a bug in the SD card, and nothing can be fixed remotely. A product that's less than 24 hours old, expensive, and already glitching like this? What a shame—it's simply not reliable in my opinion.

Camera Quit after 90 days
I bought this camera about 3 months ago. I thought man this is going to be great, checking pics at home without going into area. At first the camera worked great, I was getting descent pictures except at night. DOES NOT work at night only occasionally, Not sure why. But 3 months later it quit. I chatted with customer service and they worked on it for over 90 minutes and finally pushed an update they said would fix it. They gave me a case number and said chat back if it didn't work. If that didn't work they would have to replace camera.Don't forget you are paying monthly charge for EACH camera you have. So I waited a
week or so to see if it worked, it didn't. So I chatted again gave them case number and all I got was the run around. Wanting to try same things over instead of replacing the camera. My recommendation : DO NOT BUY! I am out a lot of money and it didn't even make it 100 days. Support/Customer Service terrible, because it is only through a chat and you never chat same person. If you lose them on the chat, we'll guess what, you have to start over with a new person. I rate all this a ZERO! I am still being charged for a non-working camera. USELESS

Love it!
It’s now been a few months since I’ve had my first FLEX-M out and I am impressed! Picture and video quality on this camera is outstanding! For the price and everything you get in this camera you absolutely can’t go wrong with the FLEX-M!
As with all the FLEX series I have yet to find a place that I don’t get a signal on these cameras. Since my first FLEX-M in May I have bought 4 more already and will be buying more throughout the fall. Great job with this one SPYPOINT!

Another Win from Spypoint
I have had the Flex M for a while now and have been really pleased with it. I like to use the video setting and it seems to do well picking up wildlife and not so much the plant over-growth near/in front of camera. Kudos to the sensitivity settings here. Has great battery life and cellular service. I have it in an area that other cameras have struggled in and this one seems to have no problem sending videos. Video quality is great as well. Great all around camera!

Great entry level cam
I got the flex m off Amazon. Pretty straight forward especially if you read the instructions.
I get really nice pics, decent video , it doesn't have all the same options as the solar flex cams do, but you still have a decent amount of control over it.
I got to say getting free pics every month is pretty cool too. I haven't bought this insider club package yet but it looks like I can get additional discount on bought plans.
Decent camera pretty impressed.

the 100 free pics is ALMOST enough. I would never have bought a camera that REQUIRED a subscription to get pics . and they were fairly expensive, the 2 camera deal and the free 100 pics got me to try these, I am very satisfied but am learning tha 100 pics a month may not be enough, but I can go out and pul lthe sd cards to get the rest, pretty much like I used to,,,, but have to admit that now that I have these , I might upgrade to the next level subscription

Great Cameras
I bought four of these last year and they take great pictures. Setup is a breeze. Of the 4 I bought, one failed out of the box. I called and had a new one in a few days.
There are two reasons I give them four stars instead of five. First is battery life (AA), which isn't too, too bad. The lithium battery AND solar panel is roughly $100 for a set. Second is I wish the had more options in the camera settings. No, I can't name one right this minute. Im old.

Only worked for a month
I purchased this camera as a gift for my husband in April... it worked for about 2 months and now will not turn on. Have tried multiple times to get assistance through their chat and has not been helpful. Randomly being disconnected from the chats and being sent parts I can't even try because the camera will not power on. They need to just honor their warranty and send a new camera but can't seem to keep anyone on the chat long enough to get what I need.

Great camera for added security in remote areas!
Purchased solely for the use of keeping an eye on a building in a remote area without a Wi-Fi connection for that random chance a “bad guy” decides to make an appearance. As strange of a request it may be for a trail cam, I would actually like the option to turn off detection of wildlife. Otherwise, It takes excellent pictures day and night. If the free transmission plan had 250/month limit, I would probably buy another six of these cameras to put up.

The signal or lack there of
I live in a very remote area in the mountains of Alabama
A cell signal is hare to maintain on a cell phone
We tried the top 5 rated cell cameras on our private hunting land
To say the least. The most expensive ones were the worst of them all They come with very high reviews & were a major let down
Price wise the spypoint cameras set at ‘#2 being second to the cheapest on the market of the 5 we tried
The spypoint cameras would hold a low signal when the others would drop signal completely
Seems like the longer you let them work the better they perform
I strongly recommend going with solar cameras unless the camera locations are close by
Were getting 1000 plus pics a week when deer rut movement is at its peek
Its nice ro not have to go change out batteries
We currently have 12 cameras running
Best buy out there. Trust me

Great Camera For Animals, Not Security.
We have 2 of these cameras. I wanted to use them for seeing what wildlife was running around in the back yard. I also wanted to use them for security as they do not run off internet. They do great picking up animals, not great picking up people and vehicles. I paid for the premium plan on both cameras and still can not choose to tag human activity. I considered returning these, my husband insisted on keeping them because they did so well with animals.

Completely different camera
I have several LM2 and Microlink cameras that all use the same battery carrier and they mount exactly alike. Spypoint sent me a FlexM to warranty an LM2. It has a completely different battery configuration and a completely different mounting location. I use the screw in base on the bottom of my cameras. On the Flex, they have moved the threaded base to the back of the camera. I wish I had known this before they sent this to me. I don't like it all.

Great Camera & it works
I bought this a month ago after reading reviews. I have had sypoint products starting with the Cell-link ,Link micro series. That have all worked great. updating software to help with my connections etc. But having to up date so many models and tracking different revisions. Was becoming too much.
I was looking to start upgrading my cameras slowly. The Flex-M fit my bill. I placed it a a location that has had reception problems. Well no more it works flawless. The biggest plus is the software now updates automatically. Being 3 1/2 hours away I need a camera that will transmit.
Thanks your you continued product upgrades I am a sypoint user for life there is NO better buy for you money.You get quality products that perform without the need for a data plan unless you want.
The viewing app is great plus not needing a data plan to use them.

Amazing trigger speed and photo quality
I have only had this camera out for about a month and it’s been amazing in every way. From set up in the app to in the field, it’s never been easier. I have only used the photo option so far but it has been great. The trigger speed it amazing and picture quality is top notch even on moving animals. Battery life has been a plus as well with it having taken well over 1000 pictures and still over 70% battery. I can not recommend this camera enough.

counts way too many photos
I have 2 flex my cameras. While they work good for the most part, they say the cameras have taken way more than they actually have. I have contacted the company once already and they reset my cameras but they still doing the same thing. I hope I have 2 bad cameras as I have 2 more I haven't activated yet. Hopefully they will replace these two when I contact them AGAIN tomorrow. It does show good pics. Just the amount of photos taken is way off.

EXCELLENT quality of photos/videos
I just bought 2 of these this week . Easy set up. As a senior citizen I found the "techie stuff" a bit over my head which necessitated a call to Customer Service. ABBIE , the rep , was delightful ! Professional, knowledgeable, and able to communicate tech basics without the least bit of condescension ...a rare thing in 2024 ! This is by far the BEST TRAIL CAM I've ever used . LOVE the various plans with reasonable pricing. LOVE the quality !

Great camera
I bought two sets of cameras one my son for his property in Maryland and my property in NJ. All cameras work fine. The only problem I have is unfortunately for some reason my credit card/debit card will not work with their system because it's in Canada. So I don't any extra pictures because I can't pay with there system your losing out on my service because I can't purchase a camera plan. They told me call my bank. So no fix your system lol

Flem M is Awesome!
This camera is a great addition to my fleet. i have a sbl10 solar panel hooked to the camera. i am getting great pictures and videos sent right to my phone! Awesome reception on these camera's. I am able to use the flex m in areas i never could before. These are quality cameras and i know anyone buying one of these camera will be very happy with there purchase! If your on the fence about getting one of these camera's then dont be! Get 2!!!

I bought my cameras almost a year ago. They have been great for hunting as I can leave them for a month at a time without having to change the batteries or SD cards. This allows me to leave my hunting areas undisturbed while being able to see what's happening remotely. The flexibility of changing the settings remotely is also great. I only wish I had found out about these cameras sooner. Great product that I would recommend to anyone.

Exceptional trail camera
I've had this camera out for the last few months and have been nothing but impressed. 28MP picture quality is great, though I typically make use of the 720p video myself. These file sizes, plus the large card capacity mean plenty of intel with minimal disturbances to my hunting area. Adding an external battery only cuts down on trips further. Great to have a camera you can set and forget...well, until it sends you pics that is!

first cell cam and so far, I am impressed
I have only had it set up for 2 weeks but the few pictures I have received are good quality. I do wish the strap was a bit longer. I couldn't put it where I wanted it because the strap wouldn't go around the tree. The ease of use is great, the app is cool. Battery life might be questionable, only time will tell. I put new lithium batteries in, and the app is showing at 70% after 2 weeks, my old camera would last 4 plus months.

Is there a way to program the camera to take a picture every 30 minutes, rather than when there is movement detected?
Hello Taylor, yes, our FLEX‑M can do that. In the SPYPOINT app, change the camera’s Capture Mode to Time‑Lapse, then set the Time‑Lapse interval to 30 minutes. In this mode, the camera will automatically take a photo every 30 minutes, even if there’s no movement detected. If you still want both scheduled photos and motion‑triggered ones, you can instead use Time‑Lapse+.

Do I pay a subscription fee from the moment the cameras are connected to a network or do I only pay if the number of photos are more then 100 per month?

Hello there, yes, you can still use your free 100 photos per month because even when it’s not connected and only saving photos to the SD card, the camera keeps those images queued for transmission, and once it regains signal, they are automatically sent to the SPYPOINT app and counted toward your monthly photo allowance.

Will this work in the cold weather
Hello Celine, Yes, the SPYPOINT FLEX-M is designed to operate in cold weather; however, like all trail cameras, low temperatures can significantly affect battery performance. In cold conditions, battery life is reduced, so it is important to monitor power levels more frequently and expect shorter battery life compared to warmer seasons. For optimal performance in freezing temperatures, we strongly recommend using lithium AA batteries or a compatible SPYPOINT rechargeable lithium battery pack, as these provide superior cold-weather reliability. Alkaline batteries should be avoided during winter use, as they tend to lose charge rapidly in low temperatures.

Are the pictures sent to your phone
Hello Celine, Yes, SPYPOINT cellular cameras are designed to send photos directly to your phone through the SPYPOINT mobile application when an active cellular network connection is available. If the camera is unable to connect to a cellular network, the photos will be saved locally on the microSD card instead.
