Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great until the last firmware update I have had 3 of these cameras for over a year and they have done very well, take good pictures and last forever when equipped with the solar panel option. The last firmware update happened and my cameras just send mostly black pictures now, I never received a black picture from any of them until the firmware update was pushed. I have reached out for support and was told that it was poor signal or low battery and this is not the case. Now I basically just have 3 cameras that are no good. Spypoint, please fix this issue with another update or something!! Looked at purchasing a flex s dark, but not until these issues are resolved.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware I bought 4 of these 2 double packs from Walmart, worked great for about a year then they required an update and now rarely work and most the time blacked out pictures. Can't get a warranty to return them because why would I really keep original receipt especially since I purchased the extra data plans when I got them. Was told I can upload files to a computer and upload them I don't own a computer and would cost more to resolve the update. They should have made the update with the fix not the damage. They should know the by serial numbers and my added data plan when I purchased. Will not recommend to someone if they're giving them away

I have had this camera over a month now and this compact camera has delivered spot on. 28mp pictures and 720p videos with sound (HD videos available). It's compact to fit in almost any situation. dual sim technology gives you the best signal in your area. Battery life is awesome and performance was above expectations. You will not be sorry purchasing this camera for the price. With spy point you get a 100 free photos every month. Setup is a breeze with the app and you can even test it out in the field with the test button. Don't let the compact size fool you this camera is loaded with features like the traditional Flex series.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked good for one season I bought this twin pack in October of 2024. They worked good that fall when I finally got them connected to my Spypoint account. Last fall (2025) I had both set up for months getting the occasional picture and assumed there weren't many deer around. When I started sitting in my stand for archery season I would walk in front of my camera and watched several deer walk in front of it as well. No pictures were taken. I was very disappointed especially since the deer I ended up harvesting should have been on camera and would have made a neat picture to pair with the mount. I got one good season out of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, affordable, quality cam! Man SpyPoint really just keeps knocking it out of the park! I added the Flex-M to my arsenal recently and it is jam packed with all of the standard features you really need. I love the ability to essentially pull this camera out of the box, power it on and set it up where I want and begin receiving photos/videos in a matter of minutes. I get excited each time I get a new notification about a video preview or photo and I love that I can request HD videos or photos of any image I desire. The GPS feature is also nice in case I forget to mark where I placed it in my hunting app. All in all you can’t beat this camera at the price point!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Connectivity/ Durability I bought 4 of the Flex M in August and in less than 3 months I’m down to 1. The cameras are constantly searching for signal and rarely connect. The firmware is updated and competitors cameras have full signal in the exact areas. Customer support is a joke and not helpful not to mention the long wait times. When it comes to durability the antenna design is poor and weak. My assumption is the wiring inside the camera wasn’t attached properly causing the no signal issues. Spypoint has sacrificed quality and they aren’t the same company as they were 5 years ago. Spend a little more and buy any of there competitors and you will be much happier.

Each time I was given the round about from the "Advisors'. Now I'm being told that my camera was activated in 2023 when the camera didn't even launch till 2024?? I'm extremely disappointed that I wasn't helped and offered a replacement. Was always told it's the firmware... It's unfortunate because some of us like myself saves every penny just to purchase the camera and photo plan. My family depends on the meat and having the cameras help tremendously. Disappointed I wasnt helped and treated like a customer that the future of the company depends on.. Because I am. We ALL are..

Hello. If I don't pay for the premium version, can I still check the photos manually once I use up my 100 free photos that are sent to my phone?

Hello there, yes, you can still use your camera after you’ve used your 100 free photo transmissions each month. The 100-photo limit applies only to the photos sent to your phone through the data plan. Once you hit that limit, the camera will continue taking pictures and storing them on the SD card, those extra photos simply won’t be transmitted until you upgrade the plan. Hello Dan, to capture photos only at night, you can adjust your camera’s settings in the SPYPOINT app. Simply open the app, go to your camera settings, and under the Schedule or Time Settings section, set the active period to nighttime hours. I have had my pair of flex m cameras for 1 year now. My Sim card was full and tried to erase the card and the camera said to change card. I did and now they don't send the pictures to my phone till the next day at the time I have them to sync.

Hello Doughboy81, thank you for your question. The bright green light you saw above the camera lens on your FLEX-M is part of the camera's normal startup and connection process. A short green flash for about 10 seconds occurs when the camera successfully finds a network connection, and the light will blink during the initial connection process.

I have Flex-M solar bundle, camera can be secured with a cable lock. Solar panel can be easily be stolen, there is no way to attach a cable. Is there some sort of metal strap lock that will fit through the strap guide that is only a few millimeters wide?
