With true Dual SIM technology, the FLEX-M comes pre-loaded with two preactivated SIM cards that ensure cross-carrier coverage on all major cellular networks and continuous connectivity to the best coverage in the area. Setting up the FLEX-M is simple, with mobile activation and on-camera buttons that allow you to format the required microSD card (not included) and take a test photo.

The camera offers four capture modes: Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, and Time-Lapse+. The Time-Lapse function takes photos at your preferred interval. The Time-Lapse+ function takes photos at your preferred interval and when the camera’s detection sensor is triggered, perfect for monitoring large areas beyond the camera’s detection range. I added the Flex-M to my arsenal recently and it is jam packed with all of the standard features you really need. I love the ability to essentially pull this camera out of the box, power it on and set it up where I want and begin receiving photos/videos in a matter of minutes. I get excited each time I get a new notification about a video preview or photo and I love that I can request HD videos or photos of any image I desire. The GPS feature is also nice in case I forget to mark where I placed it in my hunting app. All in all you can’t beat this camera at the price point!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complications I have multiple flex’s that I’ve purchased well last year they were always updating automatically running my battery’s dead causing me to miss tons of photos. Now this year one of them in particular will not take nighttime photos only pure black screens. Contacted them and of course they have excuse after excuse trying to get me to go buy a PC and update it instead of just doing what’s right and replacing the said camera. Went out and replaced both of them with 2 new tactacams. Never again spypoint! Bye :)

I received this Camera a few weeks ago n put it to work right away as we were turkey hunting n needed to pattern the turkeys to see if they were using a certain roost. I love my original Flex the picture quality on Stills and video and this Flex M is even better with 28 megapixels and 720 P videos with sound. It’s so easy to setup up to!! It also has a test button so you can make sure it’s the right angle before you leave the bush. I even brought it up to Timmins to put out at bear baits where I have cell service.. I just did that today so I can’t wait until a bear finds it and to see the pictures n videos!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality cam at an even more amazing price I’ve been running this cam for a few weeks now and love everything about it so far. Videos are great, photos are clear, and so far the batteries are doing good. Of course I can’t give you a full detail on battery life yet but it seems to be doing good. For a camera offering photos, videos with sound, and dual carrier reception, I don’t think you can beat this camera, especially at this price range !!!! The flash range and detection are excellent and even though I have it installed in an area with relatively low cell reception, there have been no delays on photo or video transmissions. Setup and installation is super easy as with all Spypoint cams. I will be purchasing more very soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor battery life & support I've had this camera for just over a year. The first season I had to replace the batteries 3x, which is 3x more than another trail camera that I had that had more frequent cell uploads than this one. This season when I went to set it up, the power switch wouldn't switch on. It no longer had the positive click when going to turn on the unit, seen the same problem in other cheap plastic parts. Customer service spent over an hour going through all the conditions, trying to connect remotely etc. only to get disconnected and not have any resolution. I'll be going with my other trail camera model as I've had nothing but headaches with the flex.

I only want to capture photos at night, how can I adjust the settings to make that happen?

Hello Dan, to capture photos only at night, you can adjust your camera’s settings in the SPYPOINT app. Simply open the app, go to your camera settings, and under the Schedule or Time Settings section, set the active period to nighttime hours. This way, the camera will only trigger and take photos during that time frame.

Can I add a 12 Volt DC battery to this set up, this thing eats AA batteries. If so, where can I get the adapter for the camera and clips to go to a positive and negative battery terminals?

I have had my pair of flex m cameras for 1 year now. My Sim card was full and tried to erase the card and the camera said to change card. I did and now they don't send the pictures to my phone till the next day at the time I have them to sync.

Is there a format option on the camera for a SIM card or must it be done externally?

Hello Jackbeth, the SIM card doesn’t require formatting on the camera itself. It comes ready to use and is automatically recognized once inserted. The only component that may need formatting is the SD card, which you can easily do through externally on a computer if needed.

A short green flash for about 10 seconds occurs when the camera successfully finds a network connection, and the light will blink during the initial connection process.

Does the Flex-M come with a reboot/restart option? Example rebooting/restarting camera everyday at midnight. If camera stops working it will reboot at midnight and fix problem. The camera will be located 200 miles away and only checking once a month.
