With true Dual-SIM technology, the FLEX G-36 comes pre-loaded with two preactivated SIM cards that ensure cross-carrier coverage on all major cellular networks and continuous connectivity to the best coverage in the area. Set up is simple with mobile activation and on-camera buttons that allow you to format the required microSD card (not included) and take a test photo. The camera offers four capture modes: Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, and Time-Lapse+. The Time-Lapse function takes photos at your preferred interval. The Time-Lapse+ function takes photos at your preferred interval and when the camera’s detection sensor is triggered, perfect for monitoring large areas beyond the camera’s detection range. The responsive trigger optimizes the camera’s settings to the exact conditions at the time of the photo to deliver the best quality image, every time. Equipped with Constant Capture technology, the FLEX G-36 can send and capture simultaneously, so you won’t miss a minute of action in the field. The FLEX G-36 is also GPS-enabled to work with the maps feature of the SPYPOINT app.

I have my camera set up to synch at 6 am and frequency 4x. The camera status notes last communication times as expected but the photos are not transmitting. I still have photos remaining on the plan and batteries are fairly new. Firmware was updated.
Hello Marecritter2, Thank you for reaching out. Based on your description, the challenge may be related to the SD card, which can sometimes interfere with photo transmission. We recommend formatting the SD card using the button on the camera to ensure it’s properly configured.
In the meantime, we’ve also raised your situation to our support team, and one of our experts will be in touch to assist you further.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. Based on the light pattern that you described, we first recommend changing the batteries, as it could be that the reading displayed on the app is from the last communication, not the latest status. How weather-resistant is the Spypointt G-36? What outdoor temp is too cold (or too hot) for the device? Does it need to be sheltered from snow/rain/ice? Thank you
Hello Marecritter, Thank you for your inquiry. The FLEX G-36 camera is rated IP65 for weather resistance, meaning it is designed to withstand a variety of outdoor conditions, including rain and snow. It has an operating temperature range of -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 131°F), so it should perform well in most weather conditions within this range. However, it’s always a good idea to ensure the camera is securely mounted and sheltered from extreme weather conditions, such as heavy snow accumulation or direct exposure to harsh elements for extended periods. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out.

Can you disable motion triggering while taking timelapse photos? I would like it to take pictures at regular intervals but not when motion is detected.
Hello; thank you for your inquiry. The FLEX G-36 trail camera offers a range of modes, including Time-Lapse and Time-Lapse+, to suit your needs. If you want the camera to take photos at regular intervals without triggering motion detection, you can use the time-lapse mode. This mode disables motion detection and captures images based solely on the interval you set.
For added flexibility, the Time-Lapse+ mode allows the camera to take regular interval photos while also capturing images triggered by motion. If you need assistance with setting up these modes, feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to guide you.
