Awesome upgrade
I’m in love with the new dark series. In the past with any camera I had, I would get a lot of spooked animals from the flash of the camera. The no or low glow flash setting has helped tremendously with keeping the animals calm and allowing to get better picture or videos of the animals on camera.

What more could you want in a cell cam? Duel Sim, 40 mp, 1080p video, updated antenna, new color, updated app, and 100 free photos monthly… no one else comes close. Wait did i forget to mention the No or low glow options. This camera has it all. They even updated camera latch for easier access!!

Possibly the best camera I’ve ever used!
I’ve been running this camera for about 6-7 weeks, hundreds of pictures a day. On a food source! And the battery is still at 80% with a LIT-22 in it! I have enjoyed using it and it’s preformed flawlessly!

I’ve used plenty of trail cameras over the years, but the SPYPOINT FLEX DARK has completely blown me away. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a serious piece of gear built with quality and attention to detail.
First off, the image and video quality are outstanding — crystal-clear daytime shots and incredibly crisp night images thanks to the invisible LEDs. No more blurry movement or overexposed night shots! The trigger speed is lightning fast, so I’m not missing anything, whether it’s a big buck at dawn or a curious coyote after dark.
The dual SIM connectivity is brilliant. It automatically connects to the best available cellular network, giving me flawless service where other cameras struggle. The SPYPOINT app is super intuitive and makes checking photos, managing settings, and updating firmware a breeze — all from my phone. Remote firmware updates? Yes, please!

Easy setup, awesome photos, huge upgrades!
I have a few Spypoint cameras and am extremely impressed at the upgrades that have been made with the Flex Dark! The first one is what makes up the “Dark” part of the name, true No-Glow flash for night time photos! We’ve struggled with bears getting “curious” about cameras in the past, which I firmly believe is caused by the standard red IR lights that’s most cameras use. With the Flex Dark set to “No Glow”, we have had zero issues with bears coming to check them out and use them as chew toys!
The second huge upgrade Spypoint made with the Flex Dark is the flexible antenna! The new antenna is a softer material that has some flex to it, instead of a rigid plastic that could just snap off. I’ve had to replace antennas in the past, and like the new version of the antenna with anticipation of far less replacements in the future!
I learned in the past that the best way to go for batteries is the lithium battery packs, and the Flex Dark uses the same LIT-22 that my other Flex cams do. This makes it easy to not have to worry about which cam gets which battery! And I know that the cam will last virtually all season with one charge!
The photo and video quality is amazing! The clarity is crisp and the colors are bright! Even the low resolution previews sent to the app are more than sufficient to see what’s going on in front of your camera!
Spypoint is STILL giving you 100 free photo transmissions every month, with no photo plan required! With the features and quality of the camera, and the No-cost plan, the Flex Dark is easily the best value in the trail cam market!

Dark is sending black white daytime photos. How to adjust for color photos?
If your SPYPOINT camera is taking black-and-white photos during the day, it’s likely due to insufficient light, the camera not being securely closed, or outdated firmware. I just got the pair of flex dark upon initial start up should I put the firmware update on the new formated card or update after initial start up

Do I have to pay a monthly payment for pictures to be sent to my phone?
Hello Colton, yes, you can use your camera without paying a monthly fee. Every SPYPOINT camera comes with a free plan that includes up to 100 photo transmissions per month. If you consistently expect to send more than 100 photos in a month, you’ll have the option to upgrade to a higher paid plan to accommodate more transmissions.
