Rated 5 out of 5 by from Company ethics It’s great to work with a company who supports the products 100%. Their customer service is excellent and goes beyond means improving that their product is superior to others. I had a minor issue where the link systems I purchased online or the incorrect carrier without hesitation, this company corrected the issue, and now I am enjoying the great service that I can provide with our field cam products. Thank you for your staff. They have done a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pays for itself I have several cell link, both Verizon and Universal, hooked up to several different brand cameras. They all work great. Make sure to format the micro SD, and update the firmware. And double check that you the SD adapter is fully inserted before you close the door. I put a small piece of tape near the SD to make sure it doesn't pull out when I close the camera door. The money I save on gas not having to check SD cards paid for the cameras

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have the verizon version, there is 4G and 2 bars of cell service where I hunt, the cell link works flawless. Send me pictures on capture and has been very reliable so far, the quality of the pics is lacking due to them being compressed but can still distinguish between buck and doe. And of course if i were to look at them on the actual card they would be better, love the product, and love the fact I dont have to dusturb my hunting area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It could be great I'm on my 2nd one the first one quit working after the sd cable adapter quit registering in the camera and the replacement cord cost almost as much as I had paid for the cell link on sale so I bought another one hoping for better luck. With this one the cable has survived but it like the first one has issues. It will run great for a couple of days then it stops sending photos no matter how many times I format the card and even with the latest firmware. It will stop sending photos even though the camera is taking photos still. (I know this because I watched it happened this evening while hunting) if it does send pictures it will change the date and time on the camera to several days prior I wanted to say this was the cameras fault but I put regular sd cards in the cameras and ran them with no issues. If you only plan to run this cell link for a few days at a time and then check your camera to reset the cell link and reset the date and time on your camera then it's perfect for you but at that point you're just better off running regular sd cards and saving yourself 20 dollars if they're on sale 60 if they're not (which is crazy because other brands have quality cell cams for $70-$80) I'm ordering a different brand hoping I can get this to work for the remainder of my unlimited plan and then throwing these pieces of junk away. Save yourself money and a headache they are not worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install I recently purchased this Cell-Link for one of my non-cell cameras. I actually replaced a Moultrie cell camera with this. The Cell-Link is far more reliable and in my opinion, better picture quality. Because of the remote location of my cameras, I have one bar on the Cell-Link and it still sends pictures to my mobile phone when the transmission time comes around. I would absolutely recommend this and I have to my hunting friends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great... for a day... Received as a Christmas gift, and procrastinated putting it to use. Finally got it out this fall for the first time and was very excited to start receiving photos that evening. Days of troubleshooting from very helpful staff determined that the unit is defective, likely a sim card issue, but new unit was to be shipped, whenever they come available again. Then I go to the website to look at other cameras after almost a month of waiting, considering ordering a cellular camera just to see the $79 cell link on sale for $29. How can it be on sale, if the product is unavailable? Is everyone stuck waiting, or are warranties being delayed to fulfill new purchases? My case was supposed to be escalated some time ago, and to now see a 2 for 1 special on the product is a slap in the face. Not exactly the way to make a customer consider another purchase of any of your products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but is draining Installed it with ease about 2 weeks ago and has worked well with a pretty basic camera. So far my only issue is it is draining the AA batteries quite quickly. I have it set to only send/transmit 2x day. In the 2 weeks it's been out there, the brand new batteries have dropped 20% life. (100% down to 80%). The Link-Evo I have out there has been out there for nearly 6 weeks and has only dropped by 11%.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not transmit photos Received this as a gift to upgrade an existing trail camera. The unit will start up and indicates it is transmitting, but there are no pictures on the SD card and the log shows failure to transmit errors. Am very frustrated with Spy Point products as this is the second issue I've had this fall. Was so tired of working on the last issue, that I'm not inclined to go through the process on this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent alternative I have several cell link units in the field. I’ve only had to replace one unit in two years. Cell reception in my area is difficult at times but the cell link units function well. Battery life is very good. I like the flexibility of settings so I can customize each location. They are a great way to turn a regular camera into a cell camera at more than half the price of a new cell camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Download firmware Update After a week of operation, I'm happy. It works, even with a weak signal of 25% (1 bar) to 50% (2 bars). Recommend a 16GB microSD since a larger size might not be compatible with your old existing camera. Perform a long version format of the microSD card. Then download to the formatted card the latest firmware files for the Cell-Link from the Spypoint website. Recommend lithium batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Item Bought 2 weeks ago, works very good. Only reason for 4 star I had trouble getting card to stay in my camera (moultrie), it was a matter of draping the cable to keep it lose on card when closing camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy upgrade I bought this Cell link adaptor to upgrade my old HD seven spy point camera. It worked great and was very easy to set up as the HD seven is many years old and the cell link does have some limitations. It does not match an actual cell camera, but that’s not what I was going for. I just wanted the benefit of getting photos without travelling to the site and I did that well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good Great for the price. A bit complicated to get working but understandable considering they work with so many different cameras. After I did some reading and troubleshooting they work great and they give you 100 photos for free so you can put the camera in a spot to find out if that spot is worth buying the plans before you do. Great product and great customer support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bringing life to old trail cams This is my second Cell-Link device. I have some non cellular based cameras that were too good to not use. I have 4 other FLEX cameras, which reduces the time I spent retrieving the sim cards to the pics. This device allows me to use my non cellular based camera just as I do with the FLEX. I was very satisfied with my first Cell-Link that I purchased a second.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressed so far with this product. Initially bought two of these to use with my Spypoint Solar cameras. Set them up in my backyard where I have checked out game cameras for several years. I used the Solar cameras and the Cell Links and found it very easy to setup. It would be difficult to set them up improperly. To date there are no issues with the reception and app used with these devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has never let me down, always functions perfectly I’ve had this over 6 months now and am very pleased with this product. Functions perfectly everytime when paired with my Wildgame Innovations Camera. I use the 15 dollar a month unlimited plan, and it sends pictures every time it takes one to my phone. Only thing I wish it would do is send 1080 pictures everytime without me having to pay extra for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little camera. I own 3 of these now. Great little cameras. Usually sends images in 1-2 minutes. Good camera for price. I buy ( and will buy) when on sale. Customer service is good, when you can through. Two areas for improvement: stopping motion, and sometimes cameras read 100% with lithium batteries, even when they run low or dead. Overall, great little units.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have six of these Love being able to pair them with any cam I own. They work especially well with Stealth cams. Even with alkalines I get two to three months out of a set of alkaline batteries, upwards of six months using lithiums. The Lit 10 is also an effective and cost efficient option given the cost of lithium batteries these days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Repurposing older cameras These little guys are what turned me into a Spypoint fan. Completely revitalized my older cameras and turned them into cell cams that I don’t have to go check all the time on foot. However, once in a while they get ‘locked up’ and won’t seem to send transmissions, but just reset both camera and cell link and they are back up and running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Micro link I had 4 a couple of years and 3 gave me problems. The micro link is a great idea because you can make a standard trail camera a cellular. If you can improve it as good as a cellular I would have stayed with it. My one that is still working great is 4 years old and batteries last alot longer in the micro link then the trail camera itself

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This device is awesome I bought this and hooked it up to my Moultrie Camera and the pictures it sent me are awesome. I did have problems when i hooked it up to a Wild Game Innovations camera which I think the camera shut off. every other camera it works great with. day and night pictures are super easy to see and tell what animals are at your feeder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cell Link I have 2 cell link’s attached too separate manufacturers cameras not Spypoint and the cell-links have been a huge success so far. Seems to be on point without issue the past two years using them. Please note I have 7 cameras total all Spypoint and they are great. Convenience straight to phone and support a phone call away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CELL-LINK I bought a few of these on sale and they are the greatest thing ever if you have older non-cellular trail cameras. They turn any trail cam into a cell cam. I am thinking about picking up one more for the extra non-cellular trail cameras I have just seeing how they work out in the long run. So far so good. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pictures This is my second link camera and I couldn't be happier. I've had 4 different brands of cameras over the years and Spypoint has always been the best. The quality of the camera and the pictures they take is great. Their customer service is second to none. When I had an issue, they took care of it right away, every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SIMPLY WORKS... YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH IT...!!! Little heavy on battery drain at times, but all in all, does a GREAT job on non-cell cameras. Would be better is video was possible, but for the price and photo plans, I find it VERY hard to beat. It will get the job DONE, I have 5 active currently and am happy with the results... GET YA ONE... OR MORE...!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Easy Setup Purchased 2 units as I still have two good quality non cellular cameras so this looked like a much more cost effective way to upgrade. Setup was a piece of cake and I had both operating in no time. Will do another review after I've had them in the field for a while - but so far two thumbs up !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YOU NEED THIS ! I think the best way to convey my satisfaction with SPYPOINT is to simply list the advantages, and they are: 1. Not driving long distances to pull SIM cards, 2. Not disturbing game by frequenting my hunting site, and leaving scent. Long battery life, clear photos, day and night, with time stamps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the cell link due to the fact that I can use it for a non cellular camera, but I have been informed that it is being discontinued and will no longer be avaliable, breaks my heart since no other cell camera company makes them, please reconsider and keep them avaliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device The cell link adapter is great so that I don’t have to walk 1/2 mile to physically check my cameras on the west end of the property. Easy set up and good cellular service. If there is any shortcoming it is the companies website. I would recommend this setup to my friends.

Does this require a separate sd card

Asked by: Sugarbush
Hello; Thank you for your inquiry. The CELL-LINK does not require a separate SD card. The SD card is used in the camera that captures the photos. The CELL-LINK simply connects to that camera via the included 18-inch SD cable and transmits the photos through the cellular network. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Can you get the Cell link cable with the micro size instead of the normal SD size.

Asked by: Rikard78
Hello; Thank you for your inquiry. The CELL-LINK is compatible solely with cameras that use a standard SD card slot. While the CELL-LINK itself uses a microSD card for its internal memory, the included cable with SD adapter (#CL-CBL) is designed to connect specifically to cameras with a standard SD card slot. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with cameras that require a microSD card, as the CELL-LINK's adapter cannot connect to microSD slots. If you have any further questions or need guidance on compatibility, feel free to reach out to us.

Hello, I currently have a Primo's trail cam and was going to purchase a cell link. Will I get the 100 free pics with the Primos cam or does it need to be a spypoint cam.

Asked by: RicTam
Hello, thank you for your inquiry and interest in our camera. Yes, once you activate the CELL-LINK, it will be on the 100 free photos plan, just like our other cellular camera models. This allows you to send up to 100 photos per month without a paid plan. If you need more photo volume, you can easily upgrade to one of our available photo transmission plans based on your needs. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
