The SPYPOINT FLEX-S and FLEX-M rank best in TrailCamPro’s 2024 Cellular Trail Camera Detection Shootout

TrailCamPro.com is a well-recognized industry website run by a group of trail camera users (Rich Howell, Charles Padgett, Marc Stokes, and Landon Baker) who perform independent tests on various trail camera models and share the information publicly to help guide consumers to purchase the right trail camera for their needs.

The technical tests performed by these guys are some of the most detailed, rigorous tests you can find.  As the leader in cellular trail cameras, SPYPOINT cameras are featured in these tests, and the results speak for themselves: the FLEX-S and FLEX-M ranked #1 and #2 in the 2024 Cellular Trail Camera Detection Shootout, which compared the speed of detection and trigger on 25 different cellular cameras. The FLEX-M also ranked first in the TrailCamPro 2024 Flash Range Shootout.

The test worked as follows: a test subject walked into the field of view from the right side and again from the left side, repeating this at 10' increments all the way out to 120'. If the camera captured a photo of the subject immediately, the highest score (eight points) was awarded. If the camera captured a photo of the subject as he was making his way across the field of view, a progressively lower score was awarded until he completely left the field of view. If the camera did not capture the test subject at all, it received zero points. Eight points possible at 24 passes offered a maximum score of 192 (8x24).

The FLEX-S received the highest score of 177 points and the FLEX-M scored second with 175, winning by a healthy margin over the third-place camera, which scored 159. Learn more about the FLEX-S and FLEX-M cameras below!
