Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible picture resolution. Bought a 2 pack. Can't read a plate number 20' from camera. Had two doe standing a couple feet from camera on a night pick. They were solid white. Should have drove down the highway and thrown 200 bucks out the window.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price I bought a pack of 2 yesterday and put it out today. Brand new batteries and it says my battery is at 16 percent after 5 hours of having it out. Not to mention the camera quality is terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor company I bought one of these late last year, and the cheaply made plastic back cracked recently from screwing in the tree mount. I contacted customer service who absolutely wouldn’t do a thing to help me. They said since it’s physical damage and not a technical issue they wouldn’t help. That is a sign of a poor quality product, and a poor quality company who won’t stand behind their own product. If I were you, look at other products

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Camera connectivity works when it wants to After so many pictures with unlimited plan it seems like it’s always having connectivity problems when using unlimited plan and SPYPOINT agent will tell you it’s connected and 5 minutes later a different agent will tell you it’s not connected. It’s like they shut picture transfers off after so many pics sent on unlimited plan. Don’t waste your money they won’t refund you anything

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery life and Customer Service is Horrible these cameras are on sale cause they have a horrible battery life ~ a month.. the customer service has unreal expectations, they expect you to be in possession of the camera. Mine are hundreds of miles away. So they scheduled a call with me so I could be with my 20 cameras.. they called 3 hours after the scheduled time... i was already in the woods hunting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t beat the price! I decided to add to my arsenal of SPYPOINT Link Micro LTEs and LM2s this year by purchasing a twin pack of FLEX-M from Academy. I deployed them about a week ago and so far I’m very pleased. I put them in areas I usually have little to no signal on other cameras and so far the dual Sims are holding at 50-90 percent signal. The initial firmware update took some time and drained 20% of my battery… but the camera did it by itself! I did not have to take a formatted SD card to the woods in order to load the update. I’m excited to utilize the video function this year to see deer in action. I’m only a week in, but after the initial 20% battery drain from firmware update, they are still at 78% after sending roughly 40 videos. Thank you SPYPOINT for packing a ton of features into a very affordable price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Basic camera with unimpressive friles Poor quaility photos. Does not capture photos that other cameras capture. I watch 8 does and a buck run around in front of my camera for 45 minutes. Not one photo was taken of the buck. I kinda suspected this and changed setting which did not improve. Photos taken for the first few hours as the sun are to dark and poor quaility. Advertisement everytime you off the stupid app. No more sharing of photos unless you pay and additional $99 for a plan that offers nothing on top of the $15 dollars a month. My other camera provider this service. I do not recommend this camera.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable Both Flex M cameras have recently stopped transmitting photos via the app after they appeared to be working in the field > 1 hour from where I live, had a good signal and > 50% battery. Customer service has not been helpful on 2 previous occasions when I had similar issues. They made excuses, tried to blame batteries, the SD card, and the settings. Two of them even stated that they recommend the settings be set for 10 sec delay for a camera that has 0.4 sec trigger speed ostensibly to avoid missing wildlife activity. I will be cancelling my subscriptions in the next few days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex-M The Flex-M is advertised as the best camera for the price; there is nothing budget about it. With 720p video and 28 megapixel photos it has amazing quality and clarity. The dual sim is one of my favorite features and a must-have for me. It’s a game changer being able to put out one camera and having strong signal instead of having multiple cams and trying to determine the best carrier. Battery life seems great. I have had a camera out for a while with a lit-22 lithium pack and have yet to need to change it. Also a big fan of having a test and format button right on the camera like the flex-g36. Overall it’s a great camera and I recommend it to anybody looking to get all the features at a budget friendly price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spypoint App & Website Review Terrible experience with Spypoint. Website and App are constantly down, service is bad - can't get a hold of anybody, and the plans are very confusing and hard to switch. For example, you get 100 free photos to start but then try to enroll in a plan and it errors out saying you already are in a plan - so your 100 photos are up and you are out of luck unil the next month. Cameras themselves are decent but the platform they run their plans with and their website are terrible...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy setup The app and connection was a breeze. The picture quality is sub par to say the least. There is an option to pay extra for a few HD photos but the cost of counting tines is not worth the price. This is the premise of a game camera so I’ll more than likely find a different brand next year unless they change some settings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not waste your hard earned money I bought two new flex m cameras to add to 4 other spypoint cameras that I own, I have owned them for just over two months and have been on the phone with support 4 times for Long periods of time, initially they reset the firmware and they worked a few days but each time it lasted less time between. I was told there is no service but I disagree. I placed another camera on the same tree and clearly one worked and the other did not. There service would not help so I am now switching brands. This is a common theme, I hinted this am, watched several deer walk right in front of one of my other flex m cameras and they did not initiate any pictures when the animal was 15 feet away. That was when my intuition was confirmed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service! I'd like to extend our sincere gratitude to Salih for the truly exceptional customer service he provided. I was having persistent issues with an older camera, LM2. Despite the warranty being slightly expired, Salih went above and beyond to help me. He patiently assisted me with troubleshooting and, understanding my long-standing loyalty to the company, worked diligently to get a replacement camera to compensate for the defective technical issues. This level of dedication and care is exactly what keeps us loyal Spypoint customers. It is service like Salih's that truly sets Spypoint apart from its competitors. Thank you, Salih, for your incredible support and for reminding me why I choose to stick with Spypoint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ok camera, takes alot of pictures of nothing 1st I am happy they have a 100 free pic plan. The bad news is uses most of them taking pics of nothing. My link micro s did the same thing until it died just out of the warranty period. Spy point said basically tough luck. I have purchased two other cameras from another brand since then. My friend has the flex-m dark, and the deer look right at it when it takes a picture, his now only lasts 2-3 days even with the solar charger and re-chargeable batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Canera; excellent technology. I have used my Fkex-M for several months. Overall it is a very impressive camera with stunning technology! The 28 mega pixel and the cameras incredible sensitivity and flash range can result in photos taken quite a ways out with detail in pixilation lacking. Reducing the cameras sensitivity setting to medium (from high) has helped to allow the animal get a bit closer before the photos are taken. I am glad I bought it and also just bought the new Flex-S Dark (have not used yet). The door’s hinge on the Flex-M might need some re-work as the plastic seats for the hinge pin seem to snap when under some pressure with the camera strapped to a tree at a downward angle (which results in the door being pulled tight to the tree).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FLEX-M Camera seems to work well. I’m currently running 4 with little issue. One of the 4 cameras seems to be having something going on as far as reporting battery level. I put brand new batteries in all cameras and for whatever reason when I turned on one of the 4 it showed it at a 54% battery level with fresh out of the pack batteries but the camera seems to be working properly. The only thing I don’t really like about these cameras is the way they lock. Running a cable lock through the current setup is kind of a pain in the butt opposed to other brands that have the latch open and close with the holes lining up. All around seems to be a good camera for the money and I do like the free 100 photos that other brands don’t offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Set it and Forget it! Today we have standardized our Trail Camera Fleet with the SpyPoint Flex M Many of our strategic locations are deep in our woods, a very heavy traffic area for deer, bears and moose. With our strategy minimalizing our human presence to the area - we needed a camera that would work, 100% of the time. . Additionally given our volume of photos and videos and low cell signal, this versatile FLEX M allows just sips it's battery usage. Using very minimal power, and while maintaining impressive cellular connectivity, we are confident we capture every moment in our woods. The best part being, we are doing so in crystal clear video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5RLeM3H-fI We could not be happier with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery life is horrible I purchased and activated. Flex-m twin pack 2 months ago. Put these cameras in the woods and love the pictures. The only problem is over 2 months I have had to change the batteries 3 times. This has costed me valuable photos and time in the woods. Even when you utilize the delayed photos and scheduled transitions the cameras die. I changed the batteries 8 days ago, I used 8 brand new AA non rechargeable alkaline batteries and that camera is already dead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex-M The Spypoint Flex-M's 28mp photos in Non-HD are crystal clear. And in HD, they are magazine quality. Battery life is still at 80% after running many months of 720p videos with sound and It didn't seem to miss much with its 90' detection range. It also has Duel SIM capability...turn it on and let it find the best possible signal, regardless of carrier. The best part of this camera is the constant capture capability, it can take pictures even while it is transmitting them, so you never miss a critter go by. All this in a cellular camera for only around $80.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong signal strength I bought 2 Flex-M models nearly 2 months ago. Installed lithiums in one and alkaline a in the other. Lithium is still reading 100% and the alkaline still has 93%. They have been active the whole time. Signal strength is strong! When I only 2 bars on my phone, both cameras have full strength. I get alerts immediately when the cameras pick up any activity. It is nearly live time feedback. I used the free version until it ran out and decided to get unlimited for 10$ month. I have spent more on 1 coffee. For me that’s a fair price to pay for instant feedback 24/7

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great camera! I bought this to use near my property. Cell phone range is great. Photo quality is good. Could improve. I do find that shadows set off the camera off. I have it on Low sensitivity and still get photos of shadows in trail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Down Hill in a Hurry This company continues to go down hill. Customer support is trash and only want to troubleshoot on your own time. Bought another brand new camera, stopped working in the woods. They asked if i could try another battery tray like i have extra sitting around. So now they want to send me a battery tray and let them know if it works. I asked to just send it back and they troubleshoot in exchange for anew one. This company is garbage!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Reliable I have 4 of these cameras two that are only a month old. The are constant not transmitting photos have them set to sync every two hours. They will run for a few days the magically one will stop. Have reached out to support do all the steps answered all the questions swap batteries put new cards in. I even went to all solar powered to rule out batteries. Once I power the camera off then back on they will work for about a week. Supports says there is nothing they can do as they are transmitting photos. But they can tell me why they just stop. Cameras all have 90% cell single and 100% battery. Very frustrating will not be buying from this company again. Tired of wasting $15 a month per camera then having to go reset them each week. Just to be offered $5 spydollars, and no real solution to the issue with this product. Save your money and buy something reliable

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Honestly I’m not a fan These flex M cameras are not as good as spy points ones they have made in the past the service isn’t very good. The motion sensors even if it’s on high it doesn’t always work. I definitely think there’s some issues they need to work out and it’s really weird like when I bought my very first one it’s synced automatically online and now you have to plug in to a computer the SD card to a computer and update it that way now and put the SD card back into the camera, which makes it even harder for people that put it out in the woods and all of a sudden there’s a new update and their camera is a day or so from their house and their hunting spot and then you gotta turn around and go get it just so you can update your camera. It’s not really user-friendly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Purchase I bought this camera last week. It is a piece of crap. Roped in by the price of $70. However, requires SD micro chip (add $60+) and subscription of $5-$15 a month. The motion sensor does not work unless you are within 3 feet. Save your money and choose something more reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing camera I've been using Spypoint cameras for years now because all my hunting buddies do. Now I'm hooked and I won't use any other brand. They're high quality and affordable, so you can't go wrong. I recently got the SPYPOINT Flex-M Cellular Trail Camera and I love it. The battery life is amazing, so I don't have to worry about it dying if I live far away from my land. And the dual sim card slots are a game changer. Some areas of my property get better Verizon signal, while others get better AT&T signal. Now I can use this camera in ALL areas of my land. I love using my Spypoint camera to keep track of what’s happening on my land. It’s given me some amazing hunting footage and I can’t wait to see what else I catch on camera in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good enough I bought this value pack last year. I have had issues with spotty reception. The bib thing is these antennas are terrible. One fell off (will not go back on) The other refuses to "tighten". When I do get pictures, they are alright. Not the best pictures, not extremely bad, however, I did expect better. Read the reviews, therefore, I did not waste my time by calling consumer support. Spypoint ... you can do better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Four Flex-M's in the field without any issues Running four Flex-M's and I am having no issues at all. All set up normally and allowed me to get photos from all four cameras easily. The app is well-designed and has functioned well on my iPhone 14. The photos look great even in the lower resolution sent and the ability to download HD on specific photo picks is a nice feature. I really like the ability to join the Insiders Club and get 250 photos per camera per month on up to 10 cameras. This saves a lot of money when running a lot of cameras and hats off to Spypoint for providing that,

Questions

Is there a way to program the camera to take a picture every 30 minutes, rather than when there is movement detected?

Asked by: TaylorH
Hello Taylor, yes, our FLEX‑M can do that. In the SPYPOINT app, change the camera’s Capture Mode to Time‑Lapse, then set the Time‑Lapse interval to 30 minutes. In this mode, the camera will automatically take a photo every 30 minutes, even if there’s no movement detected. If you still want both scheduled photos and motion‑triggered ones, you can instead use Time‑Lapse+.

Do I pay a subscription fee from the moment the cameras are connected to a network or do I only pay if the number of photos are more then 100 per month?

Asked by: Christian 1913
Hi there. Thank you for your question. All SPYPOINT cellular cameras come with 100 free photo counts per month. These credits are activated once the camera is set up and communicates with the server. If you need more than 100 photos sent per month, you can check out the options and choose the one that best suits your needs here: https://www.spypoint.com/us/en/transmission-plans

Hi there! South Africa is one of the supported countries outside of North America; however, it requires a European/International model for proper functionality. We recommend purchasing the European/International version of the camera, which you can find on our European website.

If the flex-m cannot connect to a network and transmit photos to my phone but saves photos to the sd card does it still use up the free 100 photos per month?

Asked by: Andy41078
Hello there, yes, you can still use your free 100 photos per month because even when it’s not connected and only saving photos to the SD card, the camera keeps those images queued for transmission, and once it regains signal, they are automatically sent to the SPYPOINT app and counted toward your monthly photo allowance.

Will this work in the cold weather

Asked by: celine
Hello Celine, Yes, the SPYPOINT FLEX-M is designed to operate in cold weather; however, like all trail cameras, low temperatures can significantly affect battery performance. In cold conditions, battery life is reduced, so it is important to monitor power levels more frequently and expect shorter battery life compared to warmer seasons. For optimal performance in freezing temperatures, we strongly recommend using lithium AA batteries or a compatible SPYPOINT rechargeable lithium battery pack, as these provide superior cold-weather reliability. Alkaline batteries should be avoided during winter use, as they tend to lose charge rapidly in low temperatures.

Are the pictures sent to your phone

Asked by: celine
Hello Celine, Yes, SPYPOINT cellular cameras are designed to send photos directly to your phone through the SPYPOINT mobile application when an active cellular network connection is available. If the camera is unable to connect to a cellular network, the photos will be saved locally on the microSD card instead.
