We know your time in the field (and on your phone) is valuable. That’s why the latest SPYPOINT app gallery features are all about giving you more control over how you view your trail camera captures. No fluff—just practical tools to help you find what you’re looking for faster and make more informed decisions for your hunt.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new and why it matters.
Custom Tags
Do you need to keep track of a particular buck or mark images from a specific area? Now, if you’re a member of Insider’s Club, you can with up to 10 customizable tags tailored to your needs. Use them for anything you want to mark and easily find later in your gallery—target animals, trail intersections, attractants, you name it.
Species Tag Changes
AI species tagging does a lot of heavy lifting—but sometimes it still benefits from a human touch. With the tag changes feature, you can now adjust species tags so they always accurately reflect what's in your captures.
All users can edit the buck tag, while Insiders Club members get full access to modify all AI species tags available in the app.
Variable Thumbnails
Sometimes, bigger is better—especially when you're trying to ID that buck based on his G2s. Other times, you just want to scroll fast and cover more ground. Now, you can choose how your thumbnails appear in the app. Want to see more images at once? Go small. Prefer a closer look? Go big.
This one came straight from user feedback, and it's perfect for hunters who review every single photo—as well as those who want to scroll fast to cover lots of background. Seasoned hunters might especially appreciate the bigger view (you know who you are).
Bottom line: You decide how much you see, and how fast you see it.
Day/Night Filters
If you're like most hunters, night bucks are cool... but it's the daytime activity you actually want to see. With the new Day/Night filter, you can skip the after-hours action and focus on what really matters—what’s moving in daylight.
This is a great way to find out which bucks are showing up during daylight hours now, or to compare with similar conditions earlier in the season. It means you’ll spend less time sorting, and more time patterning.
Date Range Filters
Is a cold front coming in? Are you wondering how deer moved under similar conditions last time? Now you can filter photos by a custom date range—up to 30 days back for all users, and up to a full year for Insiders Club members.
This means you can isolate past events and related behaviors, and make better predictions for what deer will do next. Whether you’re looking for a single day or tracking trends, this filter helps connect the dots between trail cam photos and actual movement.
It’s All About Control
These features might sound simple—but that’s the point. They're tools that put you in control of your data, so you can get to the information that matters most, faster. Whether you want to scroll smarter, cut through the clutter, or pattern deer like a pro, we’re here to help you make the most of every pixel.
