Applicable to : FLEX-S-DARK-US , FLEX-PLUS-US , FLEX-US , FLEX-S , FLEX-M US

The trail camera FLEX-S comes with Instant Mode, which allows you to take photos and videos on demand. This new feature is also great to check if your camera is still active, and to change settings instantly without waiting for the next sync time.

How to switch from Standard to Instant Mode

1. Press the “CAMERAS” tab, in the left lower corner.

2. Press the “INSTANT” button under the chosen FLEX-S camera.

3. Press “GO TO SETTINGS” in the pop-up message to be automatically brought to the Manage Device in the Settings sections.

4. Select “INSTANT” in the operation mode scroll-down menu.

5. Press “SAVE”, in the top right corner.

6. Wait for the settings to take effect until the next sync time. All on-demand requests before that will not be processed.

PRO TIP: you can turn the camera off and back on again, to speed up the synchronization.

How to take a photo/video on demand

You can make on-demand requests in various ways:

- In the SPYPOINT mobile app, you can do it from:

- Cameras list;

- Camera Commands, in Settings;

- Maps.

- In the SPYPOINT web app, you can do it from:

- Gallery;

- Camera settings.

Once you locate one of those “INSTANT” buttons:

1. Press “INSTANT” to request a photo or video capture from the FLEX-S.

You can manage the media type from the Capture Mode, in Settings. The icon in the “INSTANT” button will adapt to the media instantly.

2. Press “Take a Photo/Video” in the pop-up message to confirm the request.

- Photo: one request will deduct one photo from the transmission plan.

- Video: one request will deduct three photos from the transmission plan, for a short preview. You can download the complete 10 seconds clip in HD afterward.

3. Keep your notifications on. The app will indicate when the request is fulfilled.

4. You can watch all your requests in the gallery and can be filtered with the Buck Tracker.

NOTE: the completion time may vary between locations and signal strength.
