Solid construction
Good quality, only issue is they claim in there features ( Holes in the side for 6ft cable lock)
The holes don't line up with the cameras cable mounts. What's the point of putting a cable on to only secure the back of the security box. This has been an issue for other Spypoint boxes as well. Also holes in the back for lag bolts are two small, wont accept 5/16 lag bolts. Drilled larger to accept. Overall a very solid good fitting security box.

Good quality and seems solid.
I bought two metal cases for my Flex. The quality of the paint and metal seems very good to me. I passed a cable through the box and there is no alignment problem. I have several other security boxes for other Spypoint camera models and I am very satisfied with them. But this one looks better to me.

Questions
Any idea when a security box will be available for the flex-S? Not like it's that new of a camera at this point. Kind of frustrating.

I’ve been waiting since the release of the Flex Solar for the security box to be available from spypoint. It’s been available at cabelas for a few month now. Why is it not available here for spypoint members?!
I don't think the security box from Cabelas fits the flex-S... poor marketing..

I just bought 2 more flex 36 cameras and would like to get the SB-500 for them. maybe I should return them until the cases are in stock. If Spypoint is dedicated to its members, products should be available here first before other Retailers.

My retailer lists both a 05748 security box and a 05749 security box. What’s the difference between them? Which is compatible with a Flex G-36?

When will security box be available for flex s. Pretty poor support as you have been selling the cameras for a while ! Also the 12 volt battery pack has been out of stock for ever. What is up with that ?
