The lithium battery solar panel available from SPYPOINT is a perfect solution for those out-of-the-way spots you can’t, or don’t want to visit until the timing is perfect. The solar panel constantly charges the integrated 15,000mAh battery so your camera can run for months, without you needing to visit to service the batteries.
There are four output power cord choices supplied, making it easy to match your camera to the SPLB-22, regardless of camera manufacturer. You’ll also receive a mounting bracket and strap to make sure you can position and install the lithium battery solar panel in the perfect location.

• 10 Watts
• 15,000mAh
• 4 LED charge indicator lights
• 10.7 x 10.2 x 2 (inches)

The lithium battery solar panel can be fully charged by the sun in about 24 hours. It also includes a DC power adapter to charge by plugging it in, this process will take 5 hours. Like any solar panel, it will perform best in areas where full sun is available for as much of the day as possible, and the angle of the panel is adjustable to help with this. Additionally, keeping the panels clean from dirt, debris, and pollen can keep performance as high as possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I have tried the "Built in Solar" models and sorry but they all seemed to have issues whether it was getting wet inside the camera or just not holding a charge. The SPLB-22 in my opinion is a simple and tested (over a year now) solution. As of today I have had Zero issues with the four I have bought, these have already paid for themselves with what I have saved in buying batteries and not having to take the time to change batteries. If you want a "Set it and Forget it" solution these are worth the money. Charge the panel completely before taking it to the woods, make sure to have adequate expose to the sun, connect to camera and you are good to go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for 7 months We have had the Spypoint Flex G-36 out since end of November and on July 4th it quit communicating. I was wrong in assuming that having a solar panel attached would keep batteries going. That being said, it has worked great for over 7 months. We now just have to make the 4 hour trip to change out internal batteries and recharge the solar panel. That being said, we have on average at least one picture sent to app every 2 hours when communicating and a couple with every motion. On a busy day we could get upwards of 24+ pictures, so I guess it has worked great for us for over 7 months. Very happy with product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work great for now I just bought it. So far it's going well. The overall quality of the product is very good. He seem strong, and made to last long. The panel's support isn't quite appropriate for the size of the panel. I took another support that works better for the install. The price is really good considering that the built-in battery is more powerful than many other solar panel with built-in battery on the market. Now... The LED indicator on the panel... Currently on the Spypoint panel, green means it's charging, and red means it's fully charged... It would have been much easier to have: Yellow or red when charging, and green when the battery is fully charged. Most solar systems use yellow when charging and green when fully charged. And red when it's dead... Why do the opposite?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great panel and works as it should so far. I have had it out for several months and it is working great. Only thing that would be better is that they do not include a swivel bracket for the end of the metal tree mount and with out it the metal bracket that is included will not work. I purchased a 1/4 20 swivel bracket so I could use the screw in bracket instead of the included strap. This allows the panel to be tilted better to catch the sun than the strap

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not adjustable no matter what they say not impressed with their included adjustable mounting systems. i guess you can strap it to a tree, but around here the ants will kill it quickly. customer service only says that they havent updated their packaging or product description. they say it can only be used in a fixed position. if you want to spend extra cash for name brand, then have to rig some sort of mount then this is it. sorry cant tell you if it even works or not yet.

I have a Flex-Plus.  Can I leave the two LIT-22 batteries in the camera while also using the SPLB-22 solar panel?  Will the solar panel charge both its internal battery and the two LIT-22s?

Asked by: JwillieF
Hello, Indeed, you can keep the two LIT-22 batteries inside the camera while using the SPLB-22 solar panel To maximize battery life. Regarding your question about charging, the solar panel will maintain its own internal battery and operate the camera, but it will not charge the two LIT-22 batteries inside. Additionally, the FLEX-PLUS does not have an internal battery; it operates solely with external batteries or a 12V power source. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out

The SPLB-22 includes a 60” 12 V 1.5 mm output cable, which is compatible with all SPYPOINT trail cameras. Is there (or will there be) a longer 12 V 1.5 mm output cable available?

Asked by: Lowell
I have found that K W surplus sells a cable labeled as product # 02590 , described as 10ft, 22AWG copper, 2.5 x 5.5mm, max 12vdc 3amp, will allow you to connect by daisy changing with the cable supplied for the 12 dc out port to a Spypoint camera, as many as 5 extension cables, google cable # 02590 to find other sources..

Is one solar panel better than the other or do they both do the same job except 10 watt faster ?

Asked by: Yellowchigger13
Hello; Thank you for your question about our Lithium Battery Solar Panels! Both the 10W Lithium Battery Solar Panel (SPLB-22) and the 5W Solar Panel (SPLB-10) are excellent choices, each with its unique advantages. The SPLB-22 (10W) has a capacity of 15,000 mAh for efficient energy storage and charges in approximately 24 hours when using solar energy or a power adapter, making it ideal for extended use. It offers versatile outputs with 12V, 9V, 6V, and USB for compatibility with various devices, and its dimensions are 10.24" (W) x 10.63" (H) x 1.97" (D) with a weight of 3 lbs (1.36 kg). In contrast, the SPLB-10 (5W) has a capacity of 7,500 mAh for reliable power and fully charges in just 6 to 12 hours with a USB adapter, providing a quicker option for power needs. It features output options of 12V and USB, and its compact dimensions are 190mm x 200mm x 45mm, making it easy to position for optimal solar exposure. In summary, the SPLB-22 excels in capacity and versatility, while the SPLB-10 is designed for quicker charging.
