Recipe courtesy of Marie-Andrée Guilbault
Ingredients:
• 2 wild turkey breasts, cubed
• 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1-2 carrots, julienned
• 1 zucchini, julienned
• 5-6 mushrooms, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
• 6 tbsp brown sugar
• 5 tbsp soy sauce
• 4 tbsp chicken broth
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 1 pinch crushed red peppers
• ramen-style noodles
• sesame seeds and green onions
Instructions:
In a skillet or wok, sauté the vegetables and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the cubed turkey until fully cooked, then set aside.
For the sauce, sauté the garlic and ginger in a pan for about one minute.
Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, chicken broth, ketchup, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the vegetables and turkey.
Stir well to coat the vegetables and turkey in the sauce (you can easily double the sauce quantities to taste).
Serve over ramen noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Enjoy!
