Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had a problem with the battery going to 0% until.. The contacts on the LIT-22 are too flat against the battery. I took a micro screwdriver and gently pushed it up under the bottom of each contact to extend it slightly. It took care of the problem. Alternately one could try a strip of foil over each of the contacts to take up the extra space and see if that works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lit22 battery pack & camera Battery pak less than a year old. 100% charged. Stayed at 100% for 9 days. 10th day, showed 0% battery with no communication. Done with spypoint.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Purchased 2 and same as other reviews, doesn't last a day after full charge. Tried recharging both multiple times as per instructions. AA batteries have lasted weeks in same cameras and same locations. Poor and disappointing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIT 22 great buy and a good investment These batteries are great and the perfect solution for my Spypoint FLEX PLUS camera, i can put both these batteries in the camera and it has powerful battery life. Simple to charge with a USB hook up and it has a indicator which makes it easy to see once charge is complete. This is one of the best investments I have made for batteries and highly recommend them! Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy Lit-22 rechargeable batteries for Flex If the Lit-22 EXPENSIVE batteries would work more than 4 days, maybe I'd see some animals on my camera. After going through all the trouble shooting with your representatives, including charging these batteries AGAIN for the solid 48 hrs I was told to do, the camera AGAIN stopped working completely. Afterwsrds, I've read several reviews about these very expensive rechargeable "long lasting" batteries failing to make contact with the leads after a few days use, and the camera just shuts off completely. I did all your firmware updates, charging times, formatting cards, etc., and these Lit-22's will NOT work. Either battery contact issues or they just will NOT hold a charge. 16 Cheap Amazon AA lithium batteries lasted longer! I lost $100 to your rechargeable Lit-22's. Absolute trash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste money on battery Bought the rechargeable battery based on Spypoint's representation it would extend the active life of Flex-S. Battery lasts maybe a day or two together the Flex-S and battery are a rip-off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent time saving item I bought b this item and installed it in late November. We've had below freezing days for several weeks now and my camera takes an average of 10 pictures a day. I still have 40+% battery life left. The $100 was well worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I bought 4 of these batteries and they only last a month. The AA lithium batteries lasted a lot longer. I could go 3 to 3 and a half months before I would have to change the AA batteries compared to every month with the LIT-22 batteries I bought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Took a chance on this after reading the bad reviews. When I first started using this in my Flex, I noticed I had the same issue as everyone else, battery showed 0% on a full charge, even though the camera was still operating. After upgrading the firmware to 1.8.0-97, battery percentage reports as normal now. The battery has a very long life, and being rechargable, throwing away fewer AA batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missed the mark After having great success with their LIT-10 and LIT-09 batteries I was excited to get the LIT-22 for the Flex series. Boy did these disappoint! After digging into the specs I see why. The LIT-22 only has 5400 mAh, where the LIT-10 has 10,200 mAh. And the flex cameras seem to be more thirsty for battery. I routinely get 4 weeks out of the LIT-22 in my flex cameras. Skip these batteries and just buy the Flex-S with the solar panel installed, had those cameras out all season and still had 100% battery life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lit-22 Disappointment I read all the bad reviews first. Decided maybe it will be different for me. I always have 90% or better signal strength, this will save me from changing batteries, so i bought it, placed a full charge on it, installed it. Less than 1 hour later, Battery life 22%. I'm thinking about returning it for a full refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stick with the lithium AA batteries I bought two of these and fully charged both before putting in cams. One lasted a week other 2 weeks. Maybe 50 pics taken on each in 55-70 degree daytime temps. Now one doesn’t charge at all and I lost the other. With the energizer lithium AA I easily get more than 4 months during the summer/ fall. This past winter in MN the energizers lasted almost as long.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If it isn’t GREEN it isn’t ready! I have charged this battery several times and the first time it was charging for 18 hours. I had to leave the cabin so I put it back in the woods. WRONG. It was not ready and didn’t last long . So the next few times I brought it home until it turned GREEN. I’d say I put it on the charger at 5:30 pm on Friday night. Brought it home on Saturday at 2:00 and put it on at home around 7:00 pm and when I got up Sunday morning it was green. So currently if it isn’t green it isn’t fully charged. I’m not sure who said don’t leave it on for more than 12 hours. That doesn’t cut it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good batteries. Need to update camera firmware!!!! A lot of revies talking about cameras reporting 0% charge. I had this issue but after some troubleshooting, I realized that the cameras that were having this problem were running old firmware. I manually updated the firmware on all my cameras and the problem was solved. It has been several months now and the cameras are reporting the correct battery levels. Side not, I thought all the flex cameras were supposed to auto update firmware but evidently the don't always update. Check your camera firmware. Batteries work great. Last way longer than AA batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIT22 I've got 16 Flex cameras. Bought the LIT22 batteries for all my cameras . Great battery , I get 6-7 months on a charge with each camera getting 400-500 pictures a month . Highly recommend this battery...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 0% Overnight?! Just a Camera Bug I purchased quite a few of these to power my Flex series cameras. Every once in a while you'll see them suddenly go to 0% battery for a fully charged pack. After looking I noticed the battery reading on the App was indicating I no longer had a LIT22 in and instead had a set of AAs installed. That's when I realized the camera thought my LIT22 which was sitting at 8.4V fully charged was a set of completely dead AAs. I contacted support and they let me know there was a bug in the one software where it would do this. They then pushed an update to the camera and it has now reliably been at 100% until it starts to drain over time. I ran one of these in a Flex-M and it took about 1000 photos over 3 months, did a firmware update, and still had over 65% battery. These things have saved me money in the long term. One of these gets me more photos than a set of energizer ultimate lithium and about 3 times more than regular Duracells. If you see the 100% to 0% look to see if it says AA next to the battery. If it does then update your firmware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery shows 0% after 4 hours I have full cell signal and the the weather is 70 degrees. The camera took 4 pics and then the battery died. Pulled it out and charged it full, died within 4 hours. I'm paying $120 /yr for pics that I can't get due to battery performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Painful Bought 12 of these. Some read lit-22 and some read AAs. Cameras continue to work but all say zero percent. Next day, camera's will read Lit-22 and a percent. Then zero again. It is all over the board. They are at my home place so i can baby sit them. Will never use these in a remote camera situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work great I have several of these and all of them work perfect. They last so much longer than AAs and are worth every penny. It looks like all the people with bad reviews didn’t give them a chance. I to have had them read 0% after a day but if you wait at next check in or next picture they go back to 100%. In my opinion I believe this is a software issue not a product issue. I’m sure spypoint will fix it with an update in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LIT-22 short battery life I’ve had this rechargeable battery and it doesn’t seem to extend the use time. I’m having to recharge it too often and it seems like the solar panel is not helping it at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective or just not good. Bought the rechargeable battery thinking it would save time and use less AA batteries. That is not the case. Fully charged the battery, hung the camera, drove back home (30min), and by the time I got home I received a message saying it was already low. Guess it's back to AA batteries.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor battery life... I bought these hoping I wouldn't go broke swapping AAs constantly. But they don't recharge in the camera which would be nice. I bought the Flex for it's instant capabilities and it's great when they actually work..... but I prefer my Link-Micros which have yet to fail me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't last I purchased 4 of these because my flex cameras were going through batteries way to fast and thought this would help. 1 only worked for 5 days the other 3 weeks and now neither work in any cameras at all even after the show a green light saying they are fully charges. The other 2 don't last as long as regular AA bateries

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waste of Money - is NOT regarded in Solar camera! It's unbelievable, but in the Flex-S (Solar) these LIT-22 aren't charged. So literally - with a solar camera and rechargeable battery, I still have to go sway batteries every week. So I have a $300 Solar Camera, and 2x $80 LIT-22 batteries ($460 total) and I still have to recharge and go swap batteries. Cool.

Questions

Eight AA batteries is equal to 12v. How is it that this battery pack works with only 7.4v? I've asked this question before but you haven't answered it yet.

Asked by: James - Still in Texas
Hello James, while it is true that 8 AAs last longer, given that the camera is used consistently. The LIT-22 is more cost-effective due to its rechargeable feature, ensuring greater use rather than requiring frequent AA purchases.

I have a couple of LIT-22 batteries. I put both on charge last night and one charged with no problem as usual. The other one was on the charger for about 16 hours and then started flashing green (not solid green). What does this mean?

Asked by: Texas75754
Hi there, the LIT-22 battery pack should display a solid green light once fully charged. Please make sure to test it in one of the cameras and check the battery percentage after the camera connects. Since this is an unusual light pattern for the LIT-22 battery pack, we recommend verifying these steps. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team at 1-888-779-7646. We’ll be happy to help!

What volt charger and and what ah charger should I use with my USB cable to charge the LIT-22 lithium battery?

Asked by: Ec man
Hello, thank you for reaching out with your question and interest in our product. The LIT-22 has a voltage of 7.4V and a capacity of 5.7Ah (42Wh), with a charging time of approximately 12 hours when using the included USB cable. To ensure safe and optimal charging, we recommend pairing the USB cable with a charger that provides an output voltage of 5V and an output current of at least 2A. Many standard USB wall chargers with these specifications, such as 5V/2A or 5V/3A models, will work effectively. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help.
