Hello Kyle, yes, our FLEX-Dark Twin Pack cameras are compatible with solar power, and there are a couple of options available depending on your setup.
The most popular option is the SPLB-22 or SPLB-10 Solar Power Bank, which is a compact solar panel with a built-in lithium battery. It harnesses the power of the sun to deliver longer power and better value than traditional batteries, and it's compatible with all SPYPOINT cameras, including the FLEX-Dark. This is a fantastic choice for remote or hard-to-access spots where you don't want to disturb the area frequently to change batteries.
Keep in mind that the FLEX-Dark itself does not have a built-in solar panel, so the solar accessory would need to be purchased separately for each camera. If long-term, maintenance-free scouting with built-in solar power is the main priority, you may also want to consider the FLEX-S-Dark, which has an integrated solar panel and internal rechargeable battery built right in.

Hello there. Once the free 100-photo transmission limit is reached, the camera will continue taking photos and save them to the SD card (DCIM folder). These photos will not be transmitted to the app. When your plan resets, the camera will resume transmitting only new photos captured after the reset.

Hi there, thank you for your interest in our cameras. SPYPOINT cameras do not typically come with a free microSD card unless there is a promotion or special offer that specifically states a microSD card is included.
Also, for FLEX Series cameras, we recommend using a microSD card from a reputable brand with a capacity between 2 GB to 512 GB. For optimal performance, the card should be Class 10.

Hello there, our FLEX-Dark, the security box you'll want is the SB-500S(https://www.spypoint.com/us/en/products/accessories/security/sb-500s/05748.html). It's specifically designed for the FLEX series cameras, including the FLEX-Dark, and fits perfectly. It's built with 16-gauge zinc-coated steel, so it will definitely hold up against bears and keep your camera protected.
For extra protection against bears, we'd also recommend adding the CLM-6FT cable lock(https://www.spypoint.com/us/en/products/accessories/security/clm-6ft/05770.html), which threads right through the side holes of the security box and wraps around the tree.

Hello Chris, our camera does not support live view. They are designed to capture and transmit photos or videos based on the camera’s settings, but they do not support real-time viewing.

Hello Mike, our FLEX‑DARK doesn’t offer live view or live streaming. It’s a cellular trail camera that captures photos and videos and sends them to the app after they’re taken, rather than providing an instant live feed.

Hello there, upon startup, after activating the camera, we recommend formatting the device’s SD card using the camera's format button. This ensures the camera can take photos and videos while transmitting. Once the SD card is fully formatted, the camera will install the firmware update, so please make sure the camera remains turned ON during this process.
