Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I need I bought this a few months ago and have no regrets - although I wish I got the solar bundle. Probably will buy that separately in the future. Only thing that would make it better would be able to filter by time ranges. For example "every photo this week between 6am and 9am". Maybe it can already and I just havent discovered how. Paying for the unlimited remote photos is amazing, I will never cancel that - at least not in season. I look forward to checking it after every sync. Got to see this cool interaction over lunch the other day

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Honestly I’m not a fan These flex M cameras are not as good as spy points ones they have made in the past the service isn’t very good. The motion sensors even if it’s on high it doesn’t always work. I definitely think there’s some issues they need to work out and it’s really weird like when I bought my very first one it’s synced automatically online and now you have to plug in to a computer the SD card to a computer and update it that way now and put the SD card back into the camera, which makes it even harder for people that put it out in the woods and all of a sudden there’s a new update and their camera is a day or so from their house and their hunting spot and then you gotta turn around and go get it just so you can update your camera. It’s not really user-friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LA caméra qu’il te faut!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DUEL SIM/EASY SETUP/QUALITY PICTURES I was looking for a camera that I could setup in remote areas, with questionable reception. Taking advantage of this camera’s dual sim capabilities, I figured I give it a try. The camera was setup in secluded wooded area, heavily canopied with foliage. The setup was easy and fast. I had immediate connection, and I was out of there in a few minutes. I left the setup with confidence, due to these factors, leaving as little human sent as possible, and would alway have reception. I immediately began getting quality photos and videos. I am very satisfied with all of this cameras features. I believe it will make my scouting and hunting experience more enjoyable and successful. I will be purchasing more cameras in the future! Thank you Spypoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera! Never had the need for a trail camera until recently. The Spypoint price point and reviews were what sold me on it. I bought a twin pack and will be purchasing a third camera soon. Ease of setup/use and picture quality are great for a first time trail camera user like me. I was concerned about the cellular capabilities of the cameras being able to send pictures to my phone as many cellular providers in the area I use them are sketchy, but they have absolutely no issue and have a strong signal to transmit the photos to my phone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I have 8 flex cameras The link micros worked great but the flex has a design flaw where if it starts leaking the door acts like a cup and and holds water and the electronics gets saturated with water and the camera is done for this has already happened to 3 of my flex cameras already I’m making covers for the rest and slowly going to different brands because they only last about a year

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will never buy another Spypoint Camera I now have a total of 5 Spypoint cameras. I will never purchase another one from them. They will wear you out when your camera does not work with their troubleshooting gimmics. It is either have the camera in hand or some other bs. If you must buy one of their cameras, do it through Amazon where you can return items without days of troubleshooting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPYPOINT flex m This is my first set of cameras, I got the dual pack with the sd cards. The assembly instructions are very easy to use, they show you everything you need to do to set the camera up along with the mobile app you need to download, the mobile app you download walks you through each step to activate your camera and you can adjust each setting to your preferences. I’ve had mine for 2 weeks now and I love them! They have night vision, infrared red pictures at night and they come in clean and crisp. I highly recommend this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eats batteries for breakfast I been running spypoints for about 10 years probably ben through 15 cameras. Always be satisfied. My link micros and the LM2s with energizer lthium batteries last close to a year in our low deer density areas. But these flex M only last about 2 weeks. Idk if i got 2 bad cameras or they all like this. Im the least satisfied with these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for me I setup two cameras one on a five-acre lot and one on a twenty-five-acre CRP field. In both installations, I received way too many pictures of blowing branches, cars, trains, leaves and non-game animals. The cameras should have AI to only send photos of game animals. I used up my free photos in a couple of days, I bought the membership and almost used all of the limit on the transmission plan. I tried to adjust the settings, but these cameras did not work for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery life is horrible I have 4 of these flex-m cameras. I put one camera up last month. Batteries died in 12 days. I used 8 brand new AA non-rechargeable alkaline batteries and 8 days later my camera was dead again. Over those 8 days the camera only took 4 pictures. Either my camera is bad (only 2 months old) or these flex-m cameras are all bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but problems I’m an active hunter and rely on my trail cameras daily to track movement patterns, times, and habits. Unfortunately, this camera has been nothing but frustrating. It only works for a few hours to maybe a day before cutting out completely. I’ve replaced the SD card five separate times, and each time it might last 4–12 hours before it stops working again. Now it’s stuck on a “firmware” message and won’t function at all. I’ve spent countless hours driving way out into the bush just to restart or reset it, only to have it fail again shortly after. For someone who’s serious about monitoring wildlife activity, reliability is everything — and this brand has completely let me down. If you want a dependable camera you can actually trust to stay running, look elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty camera Camera takes blurry photos. I tried customer service and was given the run around. I bought the Camera on Nov 26th, 2025 and still as of 12-26-2025 I have not received a resolution. I do not recommend using Spypoint. Most cameras work fine. But if you have any issues you will not get it resolved and waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex M. Another homerun for the Flex series! I can't remember last time I bought a product and thought "These folks are giving them away." Well, that was my impression on this camera. You can't beat the combination of price and quality. Battery life is superior to any other camera I have by far. To think a few years ago, you could run this kind of quality for that price was unthinkable. Gotta give it to Spypoint on this one, they're leading the pack. It's almost like the mid-engine corvette engineers and the Spypoint engineers are the same people. Outstanding!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible cameras Don't do it. I've had 1 camera 2 months or so, grainy, half time it won't work, other times it does, 35% of the time it takes black photos and I've reached out, no one is any help what so ever, so the camera is now in my woods going to get shot next time I go out. I bought a new camera new brand and it's amazing. There solution every time is get the camera, put it in a dark room and take a Pic, ok... it worked now what? Looks like it works you're good, no I'm not good, I've told these fools it works half time... etc, it's in my camera roll you can see the issues but none of them will look at the camera roll. I canceled the monthly plan finally after I was hunting and watching this crap miss pictures for over a hour on the highest settings. Lol just trash

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Camera build up moisture but the other doesn't I have had one camera replaced 2 times as the lens builds up with moisture. Both camera's are within half a click and one always got moisture build up. It would be nice for the app to have a link to the online store to purchase other camera's/accessories/more photo's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn’t stop at 2 I bought 2 flex M’s to start (not knowing if this whole cell cam idea was even gonna work). Being a skeptic at first, it was so easy to get these set up, in the woods taking pictures, I bought 6 more! I love waking up to notifications and putting the deer movement puzzle together. Completely took the guess work out of where I should be in the woods and at what times. Pictures are crystal clear and I highly advise just going with the year membership. You WILL end up adding more trail cams to your arsenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera for price I got this camera a little over a month ago as an early Christmas gift from my wife and kids to use for gun deer. I am very impressed with the picture quality and the trigger speed. We found out we have way more does on our property than originally thought. Now I know what I have to do to for our management practice. Setting up the camera was very easy and the free 100 pics a month was great. Only had a few pictures that didn't come through the app that saved to the memory card instead of sending to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome cameras Love my cameras from Spypoint. I use them for hunting and also on country job sites. Other brands have annual plans that cost more (and cameras). Lets be real, The reasonable cost of the cameras and monthly plans is why we buy these along with the quality pics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minimal issues I have 37 Spypoint cameras in the field currently. 15 link micros, 9 flex G 36, and 14 flex m. I run the LIT-22 batteries in all the flex series cameras. All the micros just alkaline (Energizer). I periodically bring them home and check for updates. Batteries in micros last 3 months and lithium packs last 6 months. Using the micros for the third year. I keep them out all year. Best camera for the money. No complaints here. Just hate seeing only negative reviews especially when my 37 work great ......

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has potential but there are some serious downsides Ok so to start off I have 5 cameras, 4 of which I pay for the yearly subscription with the insiders club. Thats over $400 a year plus the cost of the camera. One of the cameras just stopped working one day and the customer support was not helpful at all. I thought I just had a bad egg and decided to give them another shot. Then it happened again.... I was told I needed to update the firmware and there was no way for them to do it remotely, additionally there is no indication on the app that the firmware needed to be updated, so check before you hike 10+ miles out in WA rain just for the camera to shut off. Next you have to request videos, this is a huge downfall because there is a 50/50 shot you will never actually receive said videos. Now you're probably thinking "But they have 24 hour customer support, surely they can help you!" Nope. Dont bother, their answers are copy and paste from some script and dont actually give you any assistance. Save your money, time and hunting/scouting season and go with literally anyone else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy set up, Amazing quality photos! Added this Flex-M to my camera arsenal for the upcoming deer season and I'm glad I did! In the two weeks I’ve had it out it’s taken a bunch of photos and even the standard definition photos are super clear, both in the daylight and at night! Set up was fast and easy with a simple scan in the app and it was registered and ready to use! I’m using standard Duracell batteries and they still show 100% in the app, which is awesome since I have it set to transmit photos on each detection. My son is constantly asking if anything new showed up on cam every day, so it’s definitely helping to build excitement for the season opener in a few weeks! Can’t wait to get some big bucks on cam to try out the HD photos! So far this camera is a huge bang for the buck and has easily exceeded my expectations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex-M Super simple setup right from the beginning. Coming from a non-tech guy this helps greatly. The hardest part for me was scanning QR code to activate the camera, angle you had to put phone in was a little difficult. Picture and video quality is great. The range that the camera picks up showing movement or any motion is amazing. Battery life has been good so far, but we will see how that lasts as the winter weather rolls in. For the price point of this camera, you definitely cannot go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flex m Have had 2 flex m out for about 1 months and im fairly pleased with the pic quality and battery life. Video quality sucks. It's real shaky jerky like a time lapse and it's not but 5 seconds long

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera at a great price I have 2 of these cameras for about a year. The only times I visit them is to replace batteries. They seem to last overall 2-3 months. For me I believe that’s pretty good life. I have to admit I change settings for more or less pictures maybe more than I need. These cameras I feel are the most cost efficient on the market from purchase price to maintenance. The few issues I have had were solved very quickly and politely by their staff over on line chat. Superb customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flex -M review I bought this camera at least a year and a half ago and it took great pictures and worked flawlessly for over a year..During the summer 2025 I was unable to go into my camera as often and the batteries went dead and when I got into it to change them the camera failed to power up after reinserting the battery pack therefore it is useless to me now.. I would have thought that these cameras would have lasted for multiple years of use even if left in the woods for multiple years..

Questions

Packaging says 2 sim cards Preloaded (included) My question is, where are the sim cards???

Asked by: Todd SanInocencio
Hello Todd, the two SIM cards mentioned on the packaging are already pre‑installed inside the camera from the factory, so you won’t find any loose SIM cards in the box; they are inserted in the internal SIM slots and ready to use, and you should not remove or replace them.

Does the Flex-M (or any trail cam) operate with both cell and wifi?

Asked by: GThompson
Hi there! our FLEX-M and our other SPYPOINT trail cameras don’t use Wi-Fi. They are either cellular cameras, like the FLEX series, which use LTE to send photos and videos to the SPYPOINT app, or non-cellular models that save everything to an SD card with no wireless transmission. The FLEX-M operates on cellular only, not a combination of cellular and Wi-Fi. If you’re planning to place the camera in an area with weak cell coverage, it’s important to check coverage first or consider a non-cellular model that records directly to an SD card.

Is there a way to program the camera to take a picture every 30 minutes, rather than when there is movement detected?

Asked by: TaylorH
Hello Taylor, yes, our FLEX‑M can do that. In the SPYPOINT app, change the camera’s Capture Mode to Time‑Lapse, then set the Time‑Lapse interval to 30 minutes. In this mode, the camera will automatically take a photo every 30 minutes, even if there’s no movement detected. If you still want both scheduled photos and motion‑triggered ones, you can instead use Time‑Lapse+.

Do I pay a subscription fee from the moment the cameras are connected to a network or do I only pay if the number of photos are more then 100 per month?

Asked by: Christian 1913
Hi there. Thank you for your question. All SPYPOINT cellular cameras come with 100 free photo counts per month. These credits are activated once the camera is set up and communicates with the server. If you need more than 100 photos sent per month, you can check out the options and choose the one that best suits your needs here: https://www.spypoint.com/us/en/transmission-plans

Will this camera work in South Africa

Asked by: Browne
Hi there! South Africa is one of the supported countries outside of North America; however, it requires a European/International model for proper functionality. We recommend purchasing the European/International version of the camera, which you can find on our European website.

Do they come with sd cards

Asked by: Area Wide
Hello there, please note that the product does not come with an SD card. It needs to be purchased separately.

If the flex-m cannot connect to a network and transmit photos to my phone but saves photos to the sd card does it still use up the free 100 photos per month?

Asked by: Andy41078
Hello there, yes, you can still use your free 100 photos per month because even when it’s not connected and only saving photos to the SD card, the camera keeps those images queued for transmission, and once it regains signal, they are automatically sent to the SPYPOINT app and counted toward your monthly photo allowance.
