Cool camera big Bang for the buck
I bought this for spring bear season. So far it's at roughly 40 feet away it lights up the area very well. Crystal clear picture both day and night. Can be pretty sensitive picking up small rabbits and birds.
So are the solar panels been keeping up with the activity. I noticed the batteries last way longer when I only downloaded the images every 2 hours vs every pic. I'm in a near zero cell signal area but this cam is still at 25% signal and working. Pretty cool.
No crazy animal activity to show yet but here are some day and night shots to show how clear they are.
I like the camera. Looking forward to seeing it get busy.

This is the second replacement camera (flex s Dark). This camera at least works for two days and then stops working, my previous just stopped working.
Then I get support saying put more batteries in and charge it up. Shut it off and restart it then it will work..... Yes for two days then nothing.
After going through 24 or 32 energizer max batteries now, and basically not having a working camera for 2 1/2 months while paying for a subscription (I have spent enough to just go and buy another camera), I am done with this brand, going somewhere else next just not sure where.
I do have a regular Flex Camera that is working just fine, just eats batteries, the reason I tried going with the "S".
I would not recommend.

Flex S Dark
I bought a Flex S Dark camera and once I set it up it did not transmit any pictures. After an exhaustive trouble shoot with a bot I finally got a person on the phone who informed me the camera was defective and shipped me another one. The second camera worked for a very short time less than 3 months and then it also stopped transmitting pictures. When contacting the on line chat you just get no real help since they just use bots, won’t call you back etc. I informed SPYPOINT that I will take my business to another provider as the product just hasn’t been very good and the customer service is frustrating to work with.

Picture Issues
My new flex-s dark takes shadowed/dark daytime pictures and spy point has no fix, after multiple chats and a call jumping through multiple hoops of moving the camera 3 times, changing sd cards etc. they say wait for a firmware upgrade that they have no projected date for.

Trying out these new cameras and pics are good, but the cameras still run on either AA batteries or this extra lithium battery pack which you can buy...maybe I'm doing something wrong, but why on earth would you put a solar panel on the camera if it doesn't charge the extra lithium battery pack too?

Amazing camera all around
The Flex S Dark is a game changer in the low glow game. I have noticed that many species are not intimidated or scared away. Setup was very easy with a great user friendly app. The onboard solar panel allows for extremely long battery life and the sensitivity for trigger speed is fantastic, always catching whatever goes by. Instant mode is a great feature for photos right now and the ability to adjust the cameras schedule is huge for me on the job and around home. The video and photo quality is superb, which I use for marketing and printing excellent photos. Overall the Flex S Dark has great functions and is a great value for the cost. I would highly recommend this camera.

Was hoping they would work
set up 4 of these a couple weeks ago, now only one works. Image quality is low at dawn/dusk. One camera just quit, 2 cameras won't transmit photos, last camera is still working. Will be canceling plan and returning cameras.

Spypoint flex-s-dark
The Spypoint Flex-S Dark camera is a great addition to the SPYPOINT lineup. The Flex-S Dark has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery pack and a solar panel that keeps the battery charged so you can go months without needing any battery maintenance. The new latch on the camera opens easily and is a great change. The picture and video quality are great. A few of the features are a built in solar panel, instant mode, 100’ flash detection range, 0.3 sec trigger speed, 40 megapixel camera and 1080p video resolution. The flex s dark is a favorite of ours because of the built in solar panel and the great pics and videos. It also has built-in GPS so that you always know where it is. With all the upgrades, this camera is a GREAT value for the money.

So does this unit come with a battery?? or do you have to buy the LIT-22 serpertaly?
Hello there. The FLEX-S-DARK includes a non-removable internal battery that is supported by the integrated solar panel, which serves as the primary power source. Adding an external LIT-22 battery pack (sold separately) is optional at your convenience. The LIT-22 will serve as a secondary power source and automatically switch on when the internal battery depletes to a certain level, helping ensure continuous operation outdoors.

Do these freeze up when you request an on demand photo or is that a special feature of the Flex-S that I have?
Hello there, if you request a photo from the FLEX-S-DARK in instant mode while the Cellular is off, the camera will try to fulfill the on-demand request and freeze. Please refrain from turning off the cellular connection when the camera is in instant mode, and a power cycle should bring the camera back to normal if it freezes.

I replace the batteries, but the app still shows low battery
Hello Kevin, after replacing the batteries, the battery status displayed in the app does not update in real time. It will refresh only after the camera captures and successfully transmits a new photo to the server.
Please allow some time for the camera to take and send its next image. Once the transmission is complete, the battery level in the app should update to reflect the new batteries.
If the battery level still shows as low after the camera has sent a new photo, please contact our Support Team at 1-888-779-7646. We'll be happy to investigate the situation further and assist you.

Bonjour, ceci est une caméra cellulaire, ce qui signifie qu'elle utilise le réseau cellulaire pour transmettre des photos et des vidéos directement à votre application. Si vous souhaitez empêcher la caméra de transmettre pendant votre présence, vous avez quelques options :
Option 1 : Éteindre la caméra
Vous pouvez simplement utiliser l'interrupteur d'alimentation pour éteindre la caméra. C'est l'option la plus simple et elle arrêtera toute activité de la caméra, y compris la communication et les transmissions cellulaires.

I notice that receiving VIDEO is not addressed. I did read somewhere that you cannot receive any video for free and must pay for a plan. I wish SPYPOINT would clarify this,

Is it true that I would not need a subscription or monthly plan to receive 100 or less photos a month even in Canada? Also there are many areas in Canada with zero cell reception, would i still receive the photos?
Hello there, yes, that's correct. All of our cameras include free transmission plan, which allows you to receive up to 100 photo transmissions per month at no cost. This free plan is automatically assigned when you activate the camera and is available in both the United States and Canada, so no paid subscription is required if 100 transmitted photos per month meet your needs.
Regarding areas with no cellular reception, the camera relies on a cellular connection to send photos to the SPYPOINT app. If there is no cellular signal at the camera's location, it will continue to capture photos and videos and save them to the microSD card, but it will not be able to transmit them to the app.
