Access this page from a computer to download and install the firmware update.


Change log
Installation instructions (PC)
  1. Make sure to use a SD card class 10/U1 up to 32GB.
  2. Format the SD card on your computer.
  3. Download the update file from our website
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking on it.
  5. Extract the 4 files from the .zip file.
  6. Copy the 4 extracted files onto the SD card.
  7. Eject the SD card from the computer.
  8. Make sure the camera is turned OFF.
  9. Insert the SD card into the camera.
  10. Hold down the OK button and turn the camera on.
  11. The screen will light up and display "Executing firmware update.". You may then release the "OK" button and wait 2 minutes.
  12. Turn OFF the camera and remove the power (AA batteries and 12V).
  13. Reinstall the power (AA batteries and 12V).
  14. Turn the camera on and the camera will enter in the connection process by itself. This step can take few minutes.
Installation instructions (MAC)
  1. Format the SD card.
  2. Download the update file from our website
  3. Format the SD card (Format:MS-DOT(FAT)).
  4. Double-click on the .zip file.
  5. Copy the 4 extrated files onto the SD card.
  6. Click to open the file : MacOS_PrepareSDCard.command.
  7. Eject the SD card from the computer and insert the SD card in the camera.
  8. Hold down the OK button and turn the camera on.
  9. The screen will light up and display "Executing firmware update.". You may then release the "OK" button and wait 2 minutes.
  10. Turn OFF the camera and remove the power (AA batteries and 12V).
  11. Reinstall the power (AA batteries and 12V).
  12. Turn the camera on and the camera will enter in the connection process by itself. This step can take few minutes.
Verification

Confirm the update was successful:
1. Turn the camera on.
2. Go in "Settings", then "General".
3. Use the arrows to get to the option "About the device", and click "OK".
4. On the option "Info", click "OK".
5. The version number will appear, for example: V2.10.33

If you do not have the correct version, redo the firmware update with another SD card. Make sure to use an SD card up to 32GB of class 10/U1 and don't use a microSD card with an adaptor.
