Rated 2 de 5 de par At first I loved it and then It was packaged great and unpacking was is. The activation was super easy and connected fast. Camera was doing great and the it stopped taking pictures at first I was like maybe nothing was tripping the camera but then remembered the vegetation triggered the camera alot. So I check the app and the batter was great and the solar panel worked so I went out there and it never triggered when I went in front of it. So I manually reset the camera and it captured 3 different images of me walking away but not when I walked back or currently as of 12/20/23. I wasted $15 cause I never got the rest of the money and I'm debating if I want to take it back to bass pro shop

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very Nice but!!!!! I bought the cameras because they had solar panels to them built in. However the solar panels do not work that well and you lose power plus have to recharge the batteries at home every six months. That’s not good. Luckily for me you have a great customer service and met me halfway where they supplied more equipment to me and then I bought the other equipment. For these to be independent in the field you have to buy the larger solar panel plus the larger battery. This needs to be mentioned in bold letters in the directions so the customer is aware of what they are buying.

Rated 5 de 5 de par great camera, very easy set up, user friendly app. Got #2- of these Link Micro trail cameras as a gift from my son for Christmas. I'm using them for surveillance of my 20 acre hunting property in AZ., and to see what kind of animals are running around out there. it was very easy to set up and activate, very user friendly, the help chat line was great when I had one small problem with my activation code, they got me up and running in minutes, I should have contacted them sooner. i had pictures coming over to my phone from the camera before I ever got off of the phone with them. couldn't be happier, with both the product and the support chat line. Rated 1 de 5 de par Not happy Works great for about a week then quits sending pictures, 8 hours away from me so would be nice to have a restart feature on app. Spent a bit of money on camera and throwing money away every month on this because it doesn’t send pictures. I really want it to keep working but will not be buying another one till this issue is fixed, I see lots of people complaining about it

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great camera / Long term performance? I bought it 3 weeks ago from Cabelas. FYI, Firmware updates are a must. To keep it short. I have been getting as many pictures as I want. Based on my settings and at Low sensitivity at 3-minute intervals, I have been receiving about 20 pics a day. The interesting part is we had a sunny day all day today. My battery went from 98% to 95% after the 20 pics. I will be monitoring this, I do love the concept of while at work I feel like I am in the woods for moments. I am impressed at a Low setting set on how far away the camera pics up animals. FYI again. If the setting is at Med or High and you don't have the ground cover really clear in front of it. It will trigger a pic. Many.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Awesome Cameras!! I bought one last summer and was truly impressed with how well it worked. I had no problems except one that had a problem with the card compatibility. It was the same as the rest. Charged once and never charged again. Brought most out after the season, but a few are still in the woods shooting now. The reception was great. Others had more experience cameras that would not send their pictures, but never had an issue. Was amazed at not only the deer, but the behavior of other animals in the area as well. I would give 5 stars, but for the one formatting problem. But would highly recommend.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Avoid! Purchased this unit for trying to keep an eye on my property in the country. Contected to cell service easily. Then the photos arrived, nothing! By the time this thing takes a photo the object is already gone. Have it set at the quickest capture and still the object, person or vehicle is gone by the time it takes a picture. So I will call it worthless.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Outstanding Plans, Good Cameras When I bought my first Spypoint, many told me the photos weren't a good as most other brands. That is true. However, no other brand comes even close to the great photo plans offered by Spypoint. Their variety of plans is far more affordable and the insider club is a lay up for hunters looking to put numerous cameras on their property. The cameras are easy to use. They are durable, adjustable, work great, BUT have one weakness, the gasket that seals the battery case. Just be careful removing the battery shuttle, your fingernails can peel the gasket and allow moisture in. If you are careful changing your batteries the spypoint cameras are by far the best choice for monitoring game activity.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Battery actually lasts Ive got 3 of these cameras out, I havent had a issue with any of them besides problems that plague all cameras( Fog, moisture, spiders) Had them all out this winter and would still function properly -30°C. Ive never needed to change batteries in them either. So IMO the little extra money is worth it in battery savings.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Junk Bought 11/11/22. Pulled at the end of the season last year, put it out this fall. It hasn’t worked right. Solar, taking pictures and communicating is random. It will work for an hour and be off for days then customer service resets it and it works a few hours and goes off again. I’ve been over a month trying to get customer service to help. We have reformatted, reset, firmware, etc. multiple times and I get the same response wait 25 hours and get back to us. But anything other than a SPYPOINT camera!!!!!

Contacted support after a day of drying out and not turning on and they are sending a replacement without hesitation. Awesome support.

Rated 5 de 5 de par I started out with3 I bought 3 of these to replace my old game cams that I had to go out and swap out cards every few days. After having seen the results of how well they work and I don’t have to go out around our property anymore I bought an additional 12 more. I use the for security on our property that is 308 acres in size as well as using them for game cams. The $99 fee for a yr is well worth it as I get 250 photos a month for each cam and the bonus is I don’t have to go out in 4 feet of snow to either replace cards or batteries. I’m planning on buying at least another 5 or so.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Set and Forget I use this one camera at our Community pool, to view the people who jump the fence after hours. It has been great, since I could set it up in the early summer and then not have to go back to it until we close in the fall. I also like that I can set the timing on when it would function, due to privacy issues I don't want it taking photos when we are open to the public. It has allowed me the opportunity to approach individuals and parents to educate them why they don't want to "night swim" at the closed pool. And assisted me in catching some vandals as well.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Overall Pretty Good Camera For the price and the benefit of not having to drive 3.5 hours to check my cameras it was worth the purchase. The main negative would be the picture quality. If you get out much further than about ten yards the quality ends up super low and is hard to make out points on a deer. Other thing I noticed while testing it at home, it misses quite a few pictures even when you might have the settings turned to let’s say very 10 seconds. I’d test walk in front every minute and it only captured about half the photos at 10 yards away and sent them to me. But like I said, for the price and benefit of not having to travel all the time to check it has made it worth the purchase I think. Great if you just need to know the general animals you have out or general size of deer. Would be very difficult with this camera to keep tabs on specific bucks that may look fairly similar in size.

Let me tell you, it's been a real champ. What sets this camera apart is its ability to connect to the cellular network. I get updates and pictures sent straight to my phone in real-time. It's been a lifesaver for keeping tabs on my cabin from a distance, giving me peace of mind and beefing up security. The solar panel is the secret sauce here. It's been a total game-changer when it comes to keeping the camera juiced up. No more running out to change batteries all the time. This is especially handy when your camera is in the middle of nowhere, and getting to it for regular maintenance is a hassle.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Not As Expected I really wanted to like this product. Solar/ cellular seemed like a winning combo. Purchased at a sporting goods store, and setup wasn’t terrible.Got it in the field and everything started off fine. After a few good rains notices pic quality started diminishing- then stopped working all together after about 6 months- drive 2 hours to retrieve and found moisture had made its way into the unit-visible condensation buildup inside lenses and excessive moisture in the battery compartment. The season was over so not a terrible loss at that point, paused the subscription and returned the unit and received a replacement. For some reason (maybe my error) the second unit was more difficult to set up, but after hours of working through it- with customer service’s assistance, finally got it up and running and back into the field it was working fine for a few months, then just stopped working. At that point I was frustrated with it and planned on buying a different brand all together. I paused the subscription again- so now it’s in free mode- I received nothing for several months. Then all of the sudden I stated getting pics again. The unit had been resurrected… but, battery reading very low. Working with what I had, I went back to retrieve the unit, purchased a replacement lit-10 battery, as well as a secondary solar panel to try and assist the units power supply. Everything seemed to start working again. I reactivated my unlimited subscription and back out to the field. After about 2 months pics stated slowing down- somedays they’ll come, some they won’t. I actually make it back out to hunt, decide to check the camera, and again moisture/ water inside the unit- same as the previous unit. I am not very satisfied with this product. When it’s working, it’s working well. Unfortunately, it’s been not working well more than it has been. The “never buy batteries again” in theory is great, but that want my experience. Solar… I’m not impressed with it, or maybe if they unit would stop taking in water from raining and humidity it would properly function, but I’m not sure. This unit has been sitting near the middle of a 3 acre opening, and facing south, with no obstructions. These cameras are “designed” to be outside, but can’t seem to take the elements very well. As far as picture quality, it’s not great. For “HD”quality it’s an extra fee- regular picks are nowhere near HD quality, and are quite grainy, but does get the job done. The app is easy to navigate, and is user friendly. Not a big deal, but while on the topic, the temperature readings are about 10-20 degrees lower than the actual temperature. All in all, I have spent more time and money on this product than I intended. I have had to make multiple, extra trips to just triage these units- same trips I would have made to change batteries/ switch memory cards. After over a year experience with this product, I could not, with a good conscience, recommend this product at this time.

Rated 1 de 5 de par 3rd camera in 1 year 3rd camera in 1 year and they keep failing I am on my 3rd camera in 1 year. Every camera stops sending/uploading pictures. They all get water in the battery compartment from simple rain. Every time I talk to Spypoint support I have to go out to my land, 1 hour away, so they can "troubleshoot" it and tell me take it back to exchange for a new one..

With our lease bring 3 hours from home it’s nice to view and delete photos remotely. I look forward to downloading the photos from the SD card to see the full picture quality but the photos sent via the app are still good quality.

However I did use them up quickly learning how to use the unit. Unit operations are easy and flawless both as a animal trail cam and for security monitoring in remote locations such as my farm.

It’s been through -40C temperatures last winter and never missed a beat. I definitely would recommend this camera to friends or whoever is looking to get one

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good Quality I’ve used nearly all brands that are reasonable on price and this one works great if you don’t have crazy expectations. I use it to scout trails and for that it’s great! Pics aren’t perfect and can’t always see great detail but that’s not what scouting cams are for. Battery always says 100% even when is the trees with little to no sun. I’m in the mountains and remote yet have not had issues with the camera getting signal. I would highly recommend this if you want a quality camera that doesn’t break the bank.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Simple and Easy to Use. This is my 3rd Camera. I love them all. I run one with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries, on the unlimited package. My 2nd was running the Unlimited Package, Powered by Energizer U. L. AA's, but just set it up on the 12 volt Aux / External Battery with the Solar Panel, all From Spy Point. And my 3rd Cam is the LINK-MICRO-S-LTE, Solar. And yes, once the 30 days free unlimited runs out, I will add this one as well to the unlimited packed. 2 Thumbs up Love them. Many Thanks for such a great product...

Never have to go back to her card or leave scent at spot. And were 2 months away from bow and already have a better idea of what to do than ever.

Un excellent produit, qui en plus, offre des solutions pour tous les budgets, cette caméra répond à mes attentes en matières de caméras de chasse. Important : si votre tableau de bord Spypoint n’affiche plus de signal, mais continue à envoyer des photos, c’est que le niveau de batterie est trop faible même s’il est affiché à 70% ! Dans les forêts à feuillage danse il arrive que la cellule solaire ne reçoive pas assez de lumière pour charger suffisamment la batterie, dans ce cas, vous continuez à recevoir des photos grâce à la réserve de batterie, mais vous devez envisager de la recharger à la maison pour supprimer l’information « d’absence de signal ». Pour ma part, j’ai utilisé ma Spypoint Link Micro-S LTE pendant 4 mois en forêt très dense, avant de devoir charger la batterie

Do you need an SD card in the micro mini cellular camera to take photos ?

Hello Steven, Yes, you will need a compatible SD card inserted into the cellular camera to save the photos before transmission to the app. The trail camera, like any model we offer, requires an SD card for storage purposes. However, you do have the option to set up the transmission frequency for each detection, ensuring instant delivery of images while still having the camera triggered by movement. My camera was stolen last Sunday. There is any chance to be located now?

Regrettably, the model of your camera doesn't include GPS capabilities, which means remote tracking isn't an option. Nevertheless, there are steps we can take to address this issue. Firstly, it's crucial not to remove the camera from your account. Keeping it registered can prevent unauthorized usage by the thief and give you visibility of its activity through the application. Secondly, ensure you document the status page, SIM card number, and activation code of your camera. Additionally, capturing screenshots of your camera's last images or downloading them to your device could aid in identifying the perpetrator. Have you received the necessary form to report the theft? J ai changé de réseau cellulaire telus pour virgin plus est ce que je devrais recevoir mes photos comme avant ?

Si ce changement d'opérateur concerne le service utilisé par votre téléphone portable pour ouvrir et utiliser l'application, oui, vous recevrez toujours les images transmises par votre caméra, peu importe l'opérateur utilisé par votre téléphone personnel. La caméra elle-même utilise le réseau disponible dans sa zone de localisation pour assurer la transmission, selon la façon dont vous l'avez programmée depuis l'application. Elle n'a aucun lien avec le fournisseur de votre service cellulaire. Le réseau de votre téléphone vous sera utile pour vous connecter à l'application, tout comme pour n'importe quelle autre application téléchargée sur votre téléphone, en utilisant l'accès à Internet que ce réseau vous offre pour naviguer dans l'application. Will the Micro LTE S work on a 5G network? In my area the service just recently changed to 5G and now it is not transmitting.

This is because, exceptionally, with this model, the LIT-10 battery is charged via a solar panel. Therefore, the camera requires the Lit 10 pack to function properly, as it relies on the battery charged by the solar panel for power. Have a great day.
