Installation instructions

*CAMERA AND RECEIVER MUST BE UPDATED

Updating The Camera Using A SD Card:

  1. Download the update file from our website:
    http://www.spypoint.com/EN/technical-support/update.php
  2. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking on it.
  3. Extract the 4 files from the .zip file.
  4. Copy these files into the SD card.
  5. Make sure the camera is turned OFF.
  6. Insert the SD card into the camera.
  7. Hold down the «OK» button and press once on the power button of the camera.
  8. The screen will light up and display "F/W updating…", you may now release the «OK» button.
  9. When the display shuts off, the camera firmware will now be up to date.

To confirm the update was successful:

  1. Turn OFF the camera.
  2. Hold down the «DOWN» button and press once on the power button of the camera.
  3. Check the numbers on the LCD screen. You should see for example: TINW....V1.3....UI0.2
    This is the production ID and in this example, the firmware version is 1.3.

Updating The Blackbox Receiver Using A SD Card:

  1. Take the same SD card containing the 4 files.
  2. Make sure the Blackbox is turned off.
  3. Insert the SD card into the Blackbox.
  4. Turn on the Blackbox and wait for the TEST LIGHT to shuts off.
  5. Turn off the Blackbox, the firmware will now be up to date.
